We all know Lusternia is addicting. So, how addicted are you? How long do you spend a day playing Lusternia? The most I think was probably about 8 straight hours.
What about you?
Do you eat?
Go to the bathroom?
Answer the phone?
Do you become some mindless zombie that you can't even be bothered to look at anything but your computer screen? Have you -ignored- your loved ones, parents, friends talking to you? What does it take to be ripped away from the computer to go and do normal human things?
Maybe you're not that addicted?
Another question: How much money do you spend on Lusternia if you buy credits?

This week you've played a total of 0 days, 22 hours and 56 minutes.
Which means, within the last three days, I may as well have just spent one of those solid days doing absolutely nothing else (including sleeping) but play Lusternia.
Do you eat?
Yes. I usually grab cake or pie and eat while I'm playing though. I imagine I've gained some weight.
Go to the bathroom?
Yes, but that only takes a maximum of ten minutes out of my day.
Answer the phone?
No. I don't answer the phone anyway. Nobody knows my number because I have no friends... which may be attributed to the fact that I will sit around playing Lusternia instead of going out to socialize.

1) Sometimes. 2) They're easy enough to tune out. 3) ... An actually interesting activity, like going book shopping or to an event I REALLY want to go to will usually be enough to pull me away for a bit.
Maybe you're not that addicted?
Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. I'll never admit to either.
Another question: How much money do you spend on Lusternia if you buy credits?
Ugh... thousands, actually... since I started playing. About half of what I've spent was probably completely wasted to top off the shame of admitting that.

Conclusion: You suck, Lusternia. You've taken away my figure, my social life, ALL of my money and my ability to fully enjoy the womanly obsession of spending forever in the bathroom.

I work 40 hours a week, unless I'm on vacation, and I pretty much only play during my lunch hour. My longest session is about 6-7 hours, just last week. I don't generally ignore real life for the game, except the occasional combat situation.
Money spent = $20 (I think. Might've been $10. I forget.)

Edit: There's apparently a support group!

I think I did a thirteen hour pull once, switching between four characters during one of the events. Probably the coming of Lady Maylea. Or was it the Isune events..?

I spend about 6-7 hours during the week, and 10-12 a day on the weekends.

I have no clue how much time I've spent on Lusternia. My original character far surpassed the requirements to be a mentor, and Tynghall has about 7 days in game under his belt.
As for eating: For years I've been eating in my room, in front of my computer desk sealed away from my parents and the rest of the world. Three cheers for hermits!
Bathroom: The computer stays where it is, but my bathroom is pretty much right next to it. No wait times! =D
Phone: Ha, like I get phone calls.
Either way, Lusternia = only thing I've ever done to keep me addicted for large quantities of time. Who needs a social life anyway? I have level 65 Nihilist!

I'm going to copy Mihewi.
I love Lusternia. But I've got internet addiction anyway, so if it wasn't Lusty, it would probably be WoW or something.
And y'all totally deserve my money more. Better game, awesome players (when they aren't trying to murder each other ooc) and great admin/divine.

What about you?
Well, while I am in college, I access about 6 hours a day during the week. I don't have access on the weekends
I just came off break, though. I got about four days played in one week. On one character.
Do you eat?
Yes. I get dinner when the library closes.
At home I stop for meals and such
Go to the bathroom?
No. Actually, I use a bucket.
Answer the phone?
Yeah. I can influence and talk at the same time. Just timed button pushing, really
Do you become some mindless zombie that you can't even be bothered to look at anything but your computer screen? Have you -ignored- your loved ones, parents, friends talking to you? What does it take to be ripped away from the computer to go and do normal human things?
Completely. People have to yell at me or hit me to get my attention. I have definately ignored people for Lusty, but then, I like some of my Lusty friends more than my real life ones. The promise of good food or some ...stuff will get me away from the computer, but it has to be gooood. Or threaten me with lack of internet access
Maybe you're not that addicted?
I am, I freely admit it. But it is one of my few joys in life, and I love playing
Another question: How much money do you spend on Lusternia if you buy credits?
Too much, considering I'm a non-com. So far, I've bought about eight hundred credits. You can work out how much that is.

Longest time spent: 34 hours on Lusternia.
Eating?: Sometimes.
Bathroom?: Often no.
Answer Phone?: Psh, it can ring until my stepdad gets home.
Mindless Zombie?: Ohh yeah.
Ignored Loved Ones?: Most of the time. Usually I say to them, "If you want to talk to me, we have WiFi, go buy a laptop and go on AIM."
Normal Human Stuff: The promise that I will be achieving something for a reason. Not achieving something "for the sake of it".
I've been trying to wean myself off being addicted to Lusternia. It's proven hard.

Well.. to directly answer the thread title:
You have played for a total of 147 days, 16 hours and 26 minutes.
I hardly ignore eating, going to the bathroom, or the phone if I'm just forging
I used to consider myself a non addict. Then one Saturday morning I woke up suddenly realizing why my forged stuff lasts 50-100 months less than other peoples despite having transed the skill. I didn't have anything like those since I got stuck in Zelda dungeons as a kid. I think its sort of up when you have subconscious epiphanies about stuff you're not even supposed to enjoy.

There was once a time, not too long ago, I was logging 3x the hours on Lusternia as I did my full time job. Do the math, it's frightening. Estarra has us all chained to our computers.

I'm going to ween myself off Lusternia to a more modest schedule after I hit demigod...I hope.

We all know Lusternia is addicting. So, how addicted are you? How long do you spend a day playing Lusternia? The most I think was probably about 8 straight hours.
What about you?
I spent three days on my computer once, on Lusternia. No sleeping, rare food intake. I passed out periodically, but woke up nearly right away until I hit maybe 80hrs or so. Ended up going to the hospital afterward.
Do you eat?
I try to, but I find myself only going to grab a bite when I'm really hungry, and most of the time, I forget to log out. If I can, I'll cook and watch my computer at the same time.
Go to the bathroom?
When I have to, I go. Some thing you simply don't put off.
Answer the phone?
I get yelled at when people get home if i don't answer the phone while I'm obviously here. It's never been anything important enough for me to get off and talk though. I use my cell or a cordless if it's absolutely necessary and prefer AIM.
Do you become some mindless zombie that you can't even be bothered to look at anything but your computer screen?
Not so sure about that. My TV's close to my computer in my room and I watch the History channel a lot while playing. I'm a nerd.
Have you -ignored- your loved ones, parents, friends talking to you?
Loved ones? No. If I love you, I can be pulled away. I spent yesterday with my best friend, visiting my Grandmother, watching a movie here, and then at her place in the hot tub. Didn't get home till 10pm. I logged onto Lusternia immediately.
Parents? Yes. All the time. My dad bugs me for stupid reasons. Though, if he seriously wants to bond or spend time talking to me, I'll get off.
Friends? Only if I like you. I've had plenty call and I'd make up an excuse to get off the phone to jump on Lusty because it's hard to stay in character and hold a decent conversation.
What does it take to be ripped away from the computer to go and do normal human things?
It takes a lot. Crystal (OOC best friend - doing anything), OOC Daedalion and Tau (Watching an online movie or something), and other such people. I could easily walk away if my family wanted to go do something together. Definitely. Food drags me away, as I said.. Sleep takes me by force though. And only when my body can't handle it.
Maybe you're not that addicted?
Not really. I choose to waste my time. If I have money and good people to spend it with, I will. And not on credits. I like to read and shop and go to the beach (As long as I don't have to mess with sand too much).. I have a life. I just choose to go away from it 90% of the time. Bottom line, If I'm not working, not with friends, I'm on lusternia.
Another question: How much money do you spend on Lusternia if you buy credits?
Probably a couple thousand, like Mihewi. Some on Naru and most on Somaria.
