You can stab them... INVOKE VIOLET. And you can defend against possess, you just get anyone with psychic damage to hit you (assuming the possessor doesn't get forced out when they try to use a skill). And I changed the suggestion for dreamscape, so its not a maze anymore. And its not an undefendable movement.
Your comments = no.
I don't agree dreamweaving is useful for spying. At least, when I had the skillset, it was insanely sucky for spying. Most important meetings take place in rooms that can't be entered by a dreamweaver. Most important meetings that take place anywhere else are attended by a divine or a divine-in-an-npc, who usually instantly mention something about the dreamweaver (if not instakill them, like the good old days).
Yes, three or four of the skills are useful in normal form, as long as you don't use dreamform its got a few rune-clones that are lovely, not to mention deepsleep and control. Unfortunately, most of the skillset seems to be centred around dreamform which is effectively more frustrating than anything else. I disagree that you shouldn't be able to kill anyone in dreamform, I think it should be extremely difficult to kill anyone without them moving to safety or being very careless or inattentive. Dreamweavers -can- be killed while in dreamform, and now that void has been changed, I'm not sure there are any skills at all that aren't immediately going to reveal their presence. There really needs to be some agreement on what dreamform is actually supposed to be for... if its going to be an offensive skill, then it needs to be made offensive. If its a stealth/subtle skill, then it needs to be made effectively stealthy and subtle. If its a non-combat annoying skill for a lark, then the skillset needs other combat skills to make up the difference and a reduction of risk while in dreamform.

You say that we can stab back but we can't really Skills are based around 1v1 not team so. Saying just get 30 people to invoke violet isn't valid. If you make dreamweaving a strong skillset for combat you need to make things such as violet afflict and actually do more then just damage them. But then thats raising the combat bar even more. Dreamweaving needs actual perks but It doesn't need to be good for combat purposes when the enemy can't fight back. If you think well, I want to kill people without them being able to resist well, good on you and go join the Ninjakari.

I disagree with this. And I'm not a dreamweaver so don't worry... I won't be using any of these or other suggested skills myself.
I just like improving a skill that is flawed!
Edit: Well, to be fair, you did say one thing that makes sense (if I'm understanding you correctly), dreamweavers should not be able to kill easily when the target has only violet to reciprocate with. That's why I made the suggestions I did, if you go back to the first page and reread them - it takes away basically all damaging attacks from dreamform, and the kill 'affliction' allowed the person to strike back (although no-one liked this one, fair enough). Just have to read carefully

We'd need more doors that weren't reinforced steel in that case
Such as the Steel, Iron, Oak, Walnut, and Pine varieties? If it's that much of an issue to code it so you can't move through reinforced steel:
CODE
DREAMWEAVING - KEYHOLE
Syntax: DREAMWEAVE SLIP
Easily slip your dreamform through the keyhole in most doors. Reinforced Steel Doors use non-standard locking mechanisms, rendering them invulnerable to this form of intrusion.

New Ability: Dreams
Syntax: DREAMWEAVE DREAM (target) (message)
Cost: 100m, 25wp (twice the cost if soothing or wearying)
While in dreamform, you can send a short dream of your choosing into the mind of a sleeper. As an additional option, a soothing dream will significantly boost the willpower of your target, while a nightmarish dream will instead sap their reserves.

I don't care about the soothe/weary thing, I just want to a Dreamweaver who can actually weave dreams. ):
