Then I died to chasm. This isn't a rant. More of a question- should you be able to begin an insta-kill while pinned? It's bad enough that very few things stop chasm and combined with barrier, it's a real pain. No barrier used here, just to note. As an aside, let us at least take notes from Achaea, where the ability originated and know that barrier + chasm together is a very strong combination. Too strong. (Barrier=eliminate)

I don't think you should be allowed to begin any timed instakill while you have any form of immobility, from broken limbs to things like pinned leg. However, once it has started, I don't see why you can't let it continue (remember, they basically can't cure at all).
Malicia2009-01-13 19:58:29
He was pinned when he started it, Rika. That is the point of the snippet.

Yes, so I agree with you, obviously.

Sleep didn't. Just had to move. But luckily, apostates didn't have barrier!

Hehe during that fight you took my goats, I was like 'oh that punk', got them back when you died, I was like 'AHAH MY GOATS', happy to have the corpses back, only to die and drop them again. >: (
I'm surprised it was that long and drawn out. Good fight though.

Newp it's just like chasm, only stopped by odd circumstances or running/making apostate get feared out of the location.
Celina2009-01-13 20:23:46
Lol, no. Chasm+Barrier is not "too strong." If you die to chasm 1v1 because of barrier, you did something wrong.
And no, considering how pinleg functions, I wouldn't think you should be able to start it while pinlegged.
edit: I'm aware this wasn't 1v1, but that's how the admin insist on balancing things so..meh.

PLANAR - RIFT
Syntax: INR

IR -or- INFO RIFT
The Rift stores only certain types of objects in a trans-dimensional pocket that only you can access. It holds "Riftable" items and generally a large number of them. The types of items which can be stored in the Rift are generally those which are
groupable (see HELP GROUPING).
INR puts a given number of a single type of item (or all by default) into the Rift. If no amount is given, then the first item found will be used (or the entire first group, if the first item is a grouping item).
OUTR takes a given number of a single type of item (or all by default) out of the Rift. If no amount is specified, then the default is to take out only one item.
INFO RIFT (or IR) peeks into the Rift to take a quick inventory of what is stored there. Note that this information also appears in a compact format in INV(ENTORY).
