Okay so I need some help. I use Nexus, I have no system. What can I do so I don't just get swamped and die?
Because quite frankly, I died to an easily combatable instakill. I was only surged because I was hunting, I normally wouldn't do that in such a situation.

Ha, that's what I usually do, but I decided I'd 'be a man' so to speak and hold my ground this time. For....ten seconds...

EDIT: I can't code for beans.

Most clients simply don't work on a Mac, and that is my trouble.

Catarin helped me located a workable version of Mudwalker, which is coded in Lua. I'm trying to figure out if I can translate the Treant code to work there, but I'm not having much luck.
EDIT: Not possible, no. So it looks like I'm going to teach myself how to code unless someone wants to help me out.

Heh. Yeah. I was about to say no way, weird reading it from your side. I can't pick up these things. I r a noob.

EDIT: @Isuka - I can download Tinyfugue but I don't know how to set it up properly.

Once you download the package, you should be able to follow the instructions in tf-50b8/unix/README to do a default install on Mac OS X. It's something like:

1. Go to the top folder (tf-50b8)
2. In a terminal window, type
./configure
make install
3. The executable "tf" should now be in /Users/(yourusername)/bin
... at least, that's where it showed up when I installed it.
4. You run "tf" from a terminal window. Just navigate to the folder where the executable is and type
tf
5. To make aliases, triggers, etc... you'll need to make a file called "tfrc" (you can make it in TextEdit or your favourite editor). The help directory that you can download with the source code is *incredibly* useful. There is a sharper learning curve in tf than in say, Mush, but like Isuka's said already, you're getting a fast and versatile client.

Are you in the right directory in your terminal? You want the tf-50b8 directory, not the unix one inside of it. You should be able to ls and see the configure executable and the Makefile.
