Regarding the 'stealth change' to influence (mobs no longer reset at midnight), Raguel and a few others probably indirectly caused it. Raguel had this auction artifact which doubled the esteem he gained. The esteem market crashed accordingly due to the massive influx of esteem, and the new generation of influencers didn't help.

I wish people got as worked up with bashing as they apparently do with influencing.

Raguel had nothing to do with any influence change. He influenced as hard to do demi as any other basher did.

Influencing is fine, it doesn't need criticals now.

Village mobs don't take 3 hours to repop, so this strange theory where they wouldn't be open for influence before they respawned is... really off base.

They don't anymore, but there were like...3 influences where they took a REALLY long time

I understand that, I was there for most of them. But your original reasoning was that they wouldn't reset influence until they would have repopped from death, which is what I was saying was off. Only takes an hour for that as well, it was just some horribly bad bug.

Though it would be nice to have a message when your Charismatic Aura fires. (like the critical hit message), just for curiosity and a sense of "woo I totally owned that argument"
