This was the second time I died to the instakill. I was spamming green, hoping that chestpain would be cured before I got killed. Unfortunately for me, it didn't. There was no lag on my side and I applied regeneration to chest as soon as I got hit with it.

Didn't have salve balance at first but it came a second after I was afflicted with it (I had applied mending right before the copy/pasted part for broken leg). Again, as soon as I saw chestpain, I know from experience it's not curable by the time the monk regains balance so in my helpless attempt to try and cure it I spammed green without power like a noob (doh.)

Charune? Fain? Someone? Is this going to be fixed sometime soon? This is incredibly overpowered and requires no skill on behalf of the monk. I've been killed by Otem and Yurika the same exact way by this, and I have never been able to cure chestpain unless I used green and was lucky.

Here is the entire log, in full colour. This is the second time I got lamed by the instakill, he came to me mid-deffing so unfortunately I was unable to provide an offense. Nevertheless, despite completely perfect curing, it is not possible to cure Chestpain before the tahtetso can perform the instakill.

Why are you applying to gut once the regen to the chest went through? I have no clue how to cure Tathetso, but that might be a problem, eh.

Ashteru has a good point. Doesn't the second regeneration override the first then?

Makes no sense that it would override the previous cure after he got salve balance. If it does for some reason, then that's just stupid.

I never saw the chest application in the log, Thoros. I see the attempt to apply by the system, but it looks eaten up by amnesia.

Also - applying regeneration to different body parts will not override the first regeneration when salve balance returns so long as it's different body parts.

Regeneration applying only resets on the same body part. So him applying to gut when he got balance wouldn't affect that he'd already applied to chest. If he had applied to chest again it would have reset the application. At least that is how it has always worked before. Could be a ninja change if someone wanted to test it.

Apparently you people don't know how regeneration curing works. You can apply regeneration to each bodypart once, until the affliction on that bodypart is cured. Applying regeneration to gut does not override the chest pain curing.

What does look odd is the commands were sent in this order: apply regeneration to chest, diagnose. They come out in reverse. Short of lines being omitted in the log, not sure how this would happen.

That shouldn't even be your question. The question should be, why the heck can Narsrim mangle my left leg, mangle my right leg, then follow up with severspine/chestpain, 2 more regeneration afflictions? 4 delayed cures, all followed up one by one.

It is possible to cure chest pain with base balance. Is it possible against my super tahto + celerity? Probably not in some situations. However, this is the product of artifacts + shrine powers more so than the skill itself.

Of course, one must wonder why it should be possible (outside of my instant kill) for you to continuously tank 40 some combos in a row. We afflict fast, but hindering isn't all that exciting if you can't kill someone.

It's also not possible to mangle back-to-back like that. Those are all L5 momentum attacks, which I lose after performing them. Rather, I'm doing a L5 momentum attack followed by a L4 attack followed by a L5, etc.

Huh. Guess there isn't much else to do than to nerf maxed out speed, I guess.
