Other than "never need to charge or repair it" what's the advantage to soap over cleanse these days? It doesn't seem any quicker than cleanse. Is it usable in more situations?

The balance loss is actually half as much with the soap.

Step 2: Harvest herbs like your life depended on it
Step 3: Sell herbs door-to-door, preferably with a script to make pricing and giving easier
Step 4: Get gloves as soon as you can afford them

Step 6: Manse shop
Step 7: Profit

Keep this up for a few (RL) years, and you will be rolling in the sovereigns! The herbalist who cannot profit is either lazy or just doesn't want the money.

As a mage that comes with cleanse, I must say I am incredibly envious of soap's balance difference. It's HUGE. I'm shocked as to how you can't distinguish a difference.

I want:

- Design Pending to show all pending designs for everyone again. It was one of my secret amusements as a TM.

- A table and chairs for my city shop. For some reason I still can't find someone who can authorize this.

- A manse dweller that can make allheale so I don't have to find an alchemist who can make it AND has the proper political affiliations for such.

- An extra couple of hours in the day that can be devoted solely to Lusternia.

- Bee hives would be cool too.

Most definitely, but not on 25 copies of the same artifact. I sometimes dream of the things I'd do with that much free power, though.

(Basically, my end goal is to own every artifact that can be useful to my character in any way at all, including multiple copies of the ones that stack.)

The first step might be letting artisans build display cases...
