I envoyed shield scabbards in the past and it was denied on the basis that the admin intended to do a sword/shield spec one day, so....
That would be nice, since having the shield skills in Knighthood right now are useless to us.
But still no on archery. At least, not a long range version. A version that works in the same room, sure, if you can make it work. But no "lallerkittens i can hitz u frm 5 rms away n run"

I don't want archery as an archetype. I want it as a common skill or artifact! (In other words, I really, really want to use a bow and arrow, but I'm really, really afraid they won't let warriors use them.)
I think it could be fun as a primary skillset, but that would mean new guild and no warrior spec. I can't see it being fair as a common skillset. Plus, they'd have to have no passives and blow at up-close fighting to compensate for all the raping they'd do from a distance.

Maybe taking the spec would change your stats?
+3 DEX, +1 STR, -5 CON? Or something like that.

Glasscannons would either really suck or be really good.

There's a part of me that doubts that, only based on the existence of polearms. I think there's another warrior spec or two out there, and not every org was intended to have every weapon spec available to them. Estarra's early interview with Gamer Girl indicated two physical archetypes, not three, sooo...
Right, but by the same token there's nothing even remotely archery-related in Forging, which makes me think polearms are in eventually but archery isn't. Just like daggers and axes were around for a long time but unusable, then skillsets came along that used them.
