Crowtongue is why I'll prolly never make a blacktalon alt. I'm too scared someone will expect me to try to learn it or something.

You aren't expected to learn more than the basics. Like, sister, brother, hello and goodbye. I just love it to death and incorporate it as much as possible.
Somebody even ranted about my title having too many apostrophes once because of Crowtongue. <3
I try to verbalize it too. It's not too hard, really, I don't think.

I have Nyir refuse to use it outside of ritual context and in extreme circumstances where she might need to talk to others using the CROW SPEAK command. She believes it should be treated as more a sacred language than it is currently treated.
I believe it can be annoying on one end, and intimidating for newbies in the guild on the other.

Nah, I have a hard enough time trying to remember to call folks by certain titles when addressing them when those titles are in english.
But, it's cool that you're so into it! It's neat that little things like that exist that increase the fun for some folks!

I can understand the want to make the language more sacred, but intimidating? When I was a novice I was like "zomg, thats so cool, I cant wait to learn it"

Some people are like that. Some people think it'll be really difficult to learn it all and remember it. I played an Achaean who needed to learn another language entirely, and it was intimidating at first!
Also, on a different note, it bugs me that a fae word (wyrd) is directly used as a crow tongue word, although it was used first by the fae. Glomdoring, I believe, is a fae word as well, since in the histories a fae was asking for Rowena to have mercy, Rowena replied with "f'ai glomdoring", etc. Rather than use the fae word for glomdoring in crow tongue to refer to the forest, we use another word entirely. Inconsistencies!

Huh, I pronounce F'ai as Fff-ai.

Fay.

maybe it's more appealing to the crowd that likes to use psudo-acronyms like "zomg"?

Don't be bashing my zomg.
Anyway, I pronounce it fay as well.
