It might, and it might not. Maybe the crazy flavour text would go to the attacker. I don't think we should make any assumptions, though I'm not ruling out the course of action that believing it to be a roleblocker would result in.

I've got to sleep now. Have church tomorrow as well, so I'll be able to check in in about 15 hours? Too tired to make any analysis or decisions.

I don't understand why you all are voting for me. Everytime you have asked me something, I have answered. Yes, it took a little prodding to get me to reveal my protect power, which I neglected to mention only works three times, and I can use it day or night, but that's because it's a power to protect me and me alone. I can't protect anybody else. Just myself. I used it last night because y'all were suspicious of me for defending a newbie to mafia, which turned out to be scum (blargh), and I didn't want to get nightkilled this early in the game.

I hereby demand people use full names. Having read through posts three times now, I finally noticed that my confusion stemmed from Kira != Kiriwe. I'm also confused as to whether or not a failed kill attempt would generate a message. I can't think of why it wouldn't all crazy flavor text considered.

In most mafia games it doesn't produce a message that is posted to the entire thread, as that would make it too easy to confirm the doctor.

The mod finally wakes up and opens the door to the game, not knowing that Kat&Ana have put a bucket full of words on top of the door. The two twins laugh heartily as the mod is drenched in information, before they set off to play pranks on S.A.W.

And then the smash-fest begins. Most people choose to fight with Sandbag, but a few set their sights for the biggest prize. Shaddus is first. He shoots a missile into the ball and sends it flying straight to Archer2, who juggles it a few times with his head, before he smashes the ball away. Furien and Casilu both jump towards the Smashball in hopes of breaking it, but it is Caerulo who is first. The ball breaks and empowers Caerulo.

Meanwhile, there's a party going on by Sandbag, as he grants everyone a small little keepsake when they hit him. Daganev is first, and he is given a pitfall trap.

Next up is Fania. She gets a glowing beamsword. Llandros glowers jealously at Fania and hits Sandbag with all his might. The jealousy quickly fades as he is given a HUGE steak.

Shamarah is not as lucky, as he gets one of Ness' old bats.

Diamondais zooms into the Sandbag and grabs her item before anyone can see what it was.

Shiri is up next. Everyone gasps as a golden hammer pops out. Everyone but Sandbag dives for cover as Shiri picks up the hammer and begins to swing it wildly against Sandbag. However... the hammer does no damage. All that is heard is a loud *squeak* each time the hammer hits Sandbag. Finally, the hammer stops swinging, and the next person can grab an item.

After Shiri's little hammergame, Renthur claws at Sandbag and is given his very own pokeball, while Noola is given yet another apple.

At first, it seems that Rika is the luckiest of all, but alas, she gets another squeaky golden hammer. S.A.W who is next is a little luckier and gets a Mega Mushroom.

The last one to get an item is Solanis, who gets a pokeball before Sandbag leaves.

In the middle of it all though, Narsrim starts to feel uneasy and paranoid. As if someone is out to get him.

Also, unless I've miscounted, this is the current Vote count.

Kiriwe: 5 (Shamarah, Archer2, Shiri, Rika, Solanis)
Caerulo: 1 (Daganev)

With 21 alive and available, there's 11 to lynch.

Kira, question--if someone protected themselves from a kill last night, would they have gotten some sort of flavor message indicating it? Or is that not a question you can answer for us?
kiriwe2009-02-21 15:32:50
um, I didn't hit the sandbag? I'm pretty sure I did before a few of those other people :/
Shaddus2009-02-21 15:39:13
Shiri has a piyopiyo hammer?
Nerf.
Kiradawea2009-02-21 15:50:19
Hmm... eh, I suppose I can answer that. No, you won't get a message if you successfully protect someone.
Kiradawea2009-02-21 15:51:17
Also, seeing that Esano unfortunately can't play anymore, I'm going to give his role to Silferras.
kiriwe2009-02-21 15:58:00
what about me and sandbag?
Unknown2009-02-21 16:17:18
Aw, I almost got the Smashball.

What'd you get Caerulo?
Unknown2009-02-21 16:19:38
I think he has the choice of his final smash or a daily event.
Unknown2009-02-21 16:25:36
Hm. So, either Rika protected Daganev and so we continue with Kiriewe, or our blockers have found the scum. In the first case, I think we'll end up lynching a townie. In the second case, our blockers have to reveal themselves and things get nasty if we're wrong and something else happened.

Did anyone get an item that will reveal teams or anything?
kiriwe2009-02-21 16:31:07
No, but I got a pokeball. It has mew in it, but I don't know what it will do when I let her out.
Unknown2009-02-21 16:34:30
Let her out then? Only way to find out. Do you have to throw it at someone?
kiriwe2009-02-21 16:45:44
no. I just let her out. I don't know if she's going to do something good or bad. And I think I want to wait untill a few more people are up and paying attention to the thread before I do something like that. I don't want to cause a catastrophe :/
Unknown2009-02-21 16:53:21
Well, let's try it this way--does anyone want to admit to being blocked last night?

I doubt they would because that would immediately incriminate them. As was stated before, I'm not so sure either that the roleblockers are the ones that're keeping the Traitors at night from killing. Maybe it's the doctor or they're targetting people with night kill immunities.
