The hobgoblin simply laughs.
"Treasure?" he chortles, "treasure?" The hobgoblin shakes his head. "Right down there," he says, pointing down the stairs. "Everything we have is right down there."

"Don't ignore my other questions! Who was it that sent the raid for the dagger? What were you going to do with it?"
((the rest of you.. feel free to add your questions! ))
Unknown2009-03-27 00:53:13
"Your other questions?" asks the hobgoblin, moving closer to the warlock. "All your answers are down there," he repeats. "The High Shaman. The Ogre King. Right down there."
Daganev2009-03-27 00:56:11
"Ok Then, lead us down... And how many guards does the high shaman and ogre king have?"
((I'm going home now.. so hopefully people can heal up and search the bodies while we had that conversation.))

Zorga stands up, beckoning Kuro over to the downed fighter. "Take care of him.... I've done all that I can." she says, before moving over and checking each of the fallen corpses. "Its a pity we hurled all of these buggers down into the pit..." she add, kicking over the dead archer, "... though by the look of things, we're not any worse off."
((
Edit: Kuro should be able to handle the healing checks with the base 10 and his Heal modifier. I don't think Zorga has anything she can really help Tsujin out with... Sorry mate

Stepping forward, Aesamar directs a query towards the goblin.
"What can you tell us about the Ogre King?"
"What can you tell us about the Ogre King?"
Unknown2009-03-27 11:27:49
Finally coming up to the warlock, the hobgoblin grunts, ignoring the wizard's question.
"Now," he says, crossing the final distance to the githyanki, "I've got one question of my own--"
And then the flail came up, swung by a muscular arm, the ball on the end catching Ralzik beneath the jaw, causing him to stumble back against the fountain.
"Coward!" the hobgoblin screams, "how does your blood taste?"
After the surprising blow, the soldier seizes the moment to reach out with his free hand, grabbing the reeling githyanki's head and forcing it beneath the stagnant, bloody water of the fountain.

Tsuujin, still bloodied and cleaved, screams out in pain and frustration and hurls himself at the hobgoblin holding his ally down. Despite the show, he's still unable to land a single hit.

((I'm sorry but that is just nonsense.... I didn't ever do anything with the intent of running away or anything of the sort. I'm a distance caster, who is required to move... Seriously? ((First off, I don't care what you have to intimidate. Sometimes things are just not intimidatable. Such is the case here--he was never going to surrender.
On top of that, I made it clear that he moved towards you, and you didn't respond to that at all, so you made the choice to let him get close to you. You also may have wanted him to go first, but you made no sign of suspecting he might attack you--and your passive Insight check did not beat his bluff roll.
As for you not actually running away, from the hobgoblin's eyes, you were--first you ducked backed down the hallway, and then you made your way across the fountain from the archer. As far as he was concerned, every step you took was to keep yourself out of danger. He knew he was dead no matter what, and so he decided he wanted to get close to you and give you a kiss with his flail.
I even waited all night to post that, incase any of might do something to oppose what I thought was a blatant doublecross. But you didn't. So please don't blame me for you not responding to the scene.
This isn't a MUD, and the NPCs really do matter.
Also, your strength vs his fort.))
