Actually, meant the style was derived from Astral, no relation for the Spirit and the sphere as far as I know.
The Nekotai had no idea where the style was coming from. Yoraghu refused to tell anyone anything about the source-- in fact, there was a Pact which she could not break. They picked some random rubbish that turned out to be wrong.
Astral had nothing to do with it-- the style came from the Caverns. Just because they didn't open at the same time doesn't really mean anything. The Admin knew they were in the works and planned things in advance to work out that way. Announce posts & the events prove that.

That makes sense. I mean, they got the Nekotai style in the first place by keeping Grandmother Scorpion a secret, so Yoraghu couldn't tell anyone.

Xenthos and Rika are right,
Nekotai was taught to the Illithoid in exchange for the psionic barrier (that's how these creatures from the undervault used idols that don't exist in the undervault) then the Illithoid taught it to Glom
that's the only thing I've known since joining
and I love Stealth, I don't know anything about harmony, but stealth is a sweet skill. I do think I should be able to noose from trees and shove off, just like rooftops, but other than that it is an awesome skill set

As usual, I have very little to add to the conversation, but I was just stopping by for a little old-fashioned trolling and couldn't help myself...
You're still going about that? I thought surely you would all have that solved by now...
This is the problem - and the source of the Shiribot's frustration. In the beginning, we had no real guidance about the RP source of our skills or what they were based around. Admin encouraged the leaders to try to make up their own things, but then they come along with events that contradict everything that the guild leaders tried to make up. The result was that we sat around with no clue and no RP depth whatsoever.

That's correct.
We've made several attempts to get the Shofangi similarly integrated SOMEHOW but it's failed unilaterally up until now, despite promises we'd get help with it it never actually turned up so our attempts are just kind of sat there. We're "related" to bull...somehow...but that's it. (P.S it's not necessarily a nature spirit...oh yeah, and the Astral thing isn't clear either, it's just coincidence as far as the game lore is concerned.)

You would think so, but I'm kind of burnt out on trying...maybe I'll have another go soon if I can figure out a way that doesn't invalidate the first theory. OTL.
