Wow, from art to RP to, shudder, Ashteru and Jack, this thread has certainly derailed more than usual for our forums.

My take on the RP issue: I think its fine. Just like how there are mixed Merians and Dracnari which determine their race by waterbreathing or firebreathing, why can't mixed Illithoids determine their race via their inner worm? And as for Tau's sternal mouth, who says it has to be open at all times and visible? Can't it be a small, nearly invisible hole, just large enough for the inner worm to pop out?

Her right elbow seems to have some weird.... Iuno, pointy thing sticking out of it. Also, her pelvic region is lacking in shading/definition/something, I'm not sure what.

Let's go back to talking about the drawing on the drawing's own merits, instead of what everybody thinks it should or shouldn't be.

There's a funky little line coming off of her elbow that needs tidying up, and I think she could use defintion around her hips. She's curvy and cute, but her legs just kinda... start. I'm not an amazing artist myself, but maybe a little shadow to indicate she has a groin of some sort, nothing graphic, of course, but a little something, yanno?

Agreed about the groin thing, and the nekai look a bit funky. Ignoring the fact that they're freaking huge, I think there could use a little more definition on the left one, particularly where it attachs the strap thingie. I'm assuming the bladed edges face downwards, but the way they're drawn on that side it looks like they just sit horizontally. That of course, would be incredibly impractical as a weapon.

Wouldn't her inner worm be more towards her stomach, and not between her breasts? I sort of thought that was a brooch of some kind at first.
