That is direct result of not having the proper .net verions. I've encountered that problem often. Reboot a few more times, and make sure that sp1 is installed.

use the official microsoft update software to install it instead of trying to download it from the website.

You can't squish what you can't catch...

You also get full access to Dungeon and Dragon online magazines, which have extra feats and race info and powers and stuff. There's an article with feats that can turn fighters into Gladiators, opening up options for whips and nets and stuff. And an article giving feats and stuff that can turn almost any character into an assassin--garrotes, blowdarts, along with "guild" feats that are better when you're near other people who have them.

Oh, you also get access to The Compendium, which has a full list of powers, feats, races, classes, monsters, and everything.
