Claiming with no pressure on him is, like Silferras says, interesting. Shouldn't Jack have waited till he actually had votes on him, then claim suicide bomber? That said, I am somewhat inclined to believe him.
On the other hand, Solanis is looking suspicious.
WIFOM move?
He's not seriously voting for Jack? Moves like these are not very good to make.
On top of that, Solanis did -not- behave like this in the last two games. My gut feeling is on Solanis.

Don't forget that I did an EVILCACKLE before! Very, very jester-like.

We're not seriously voting for you, I'm just making myself gigglez.
@Kiriwe: Geez, why bring attention to himself if he was actually someone anti-town.
UNVOTE. VOTE KIRIWE.

I'm not convinced of anyone yet, it's too early for me, but Caerulo makes a really good point.

I wont put a vote on either of those two right now, I'd like to see how this develops a bit first. For now though, I'll Unvote.

How this develops? What are you talking about?
We're not going to get anything out of anybody besides Jack, and he already roleclaimed. There's nothing else to develop, imho.
Diamondais2009-03-22 19:12:26
Yes, see how this develops. Watch how people immediately react and continue to act.

Claiming on the first day... Interesting. If Jack's really a bomb, it's less likely that he's pro-town, in my opinion. Plus it's a great blanket claim that can be used as an argument for not lynching (see: we lose two townies if you lynch me) and as a deterrent against nightkills. Volunteering information like that can tip either way in terms of town or scum tell, so I'll go with the first bit and...

If this were a normal mafia game, then yes ... but its not. We have the one joker ( jester .... whatever it was called ). Everyone else is a vanilla townie. The joker wins when there are no other vanilla townie roles left. No arguement can be made about losing two townies if you lynch me. Jack is no longer part of the towns win condition. The town wins when the joker is gone and we still have vanilla townies left. The only time that Jack and any other spawned townies would count is if mafia/sk are created. Then it would be a typical mafia game.

Um, not quite
Our win condition is when all the threats to Town are gone. Not just when all that's left are vanilla townies.
You could look at it that Jack is a threat to the town because he will kill one when he dies, but that could be stretching it.
Jack2009-03-22 23:32:15
Yeah, it would. Especially since I'm pro-town. But hey, whoever has a death-wish can cast the deciding vote on me. Boooooom
Dugan2009-03-22 23:53:54
You are pro-town in a game where currently the only opponent has a win condition that states you win when there are no vanilla townies left. So, currently you are useless to the town.
Jack2009-03-23 00:10:55
Yeah, okay. So you want to kill two pro town people. I getcha.

WIFOM. Anyone else convinced by this?
kiriwe2009-03-23 03:21:47
what does WIFOM mean?
Unknown2009-03-23 03:26:43
Wine in Front of Me. It's like, reverse psychology, to the maximum. "He claimed with no pressure, so he can't be scum." "But maybe he's doing that because he knows we'll think that he can't be scum like that" etc.

Yes, see how this develops. Watch how people immediately react and continue to act.
The principal development here being that you're not actually inputting anything.
Has anyone not posted yet? (although, since we might want them to lynch Jack it's kind of awkward going for inactives...but oh well.)
WIFOM means "wine in front of me", from a scene in the princess bride. I think it's on the mafia scum wiki with a concise explanation, check there.
Tekora2009-03-23 03:34:18
Oh, this finally started huh? Goodie. Too bad I'm going to sleep now. Don't get anyone blown up.

I don't really trust that he claimed with nothing on him, don't really like it. It could easily just be Jack, a scum tell, he's actually a joker (jester?) or absolutely nothing.

I just do things!
I'm not worried, though. You can vote for me all you like, but none of you will have the cojones to cast the deciding vote.

Actually, if I was convinced you were lying, I would cast the last vote.
