Recently Ishant got engaged to Reiha and Astraea thought it would be worthwhile speaking to her. There wasn't much emoting, but I found Astraea's speech interesting (since if you know her she is obsessive about NS name, which I am to a lesser extent), so I thought I would post it minus pre-set emotes.

Slowly, Astraea Nightshade asks, "What does ri'Tou mean to you, Reiha?"
You have emoted: Ishant reaches out to take Reiha's hand and squeezes it gently.
Reiha ri`Tou says, "It does not mean much to me, anymore."
Stiffly, Astraea Nightshade says, "Let me explain to you what Nightshade means to me."
Astraea Nightshade says, "To me, my family means everything. It means life, and survival, it means power and beauty. The name Nightshade is the highest grace one can receive, we have served this forest for millennia, and will continue to do so. We have been torn down to our barest. We are few currently. My ex-wife, my wife, my children, Rowena and her brood. We are scant, but we are strong, and most important, we grow. I will not have my family treated with anything less than the deepest respect. You are not a Nightshade yet, Reiha ri'Tou, but when you become one, you will have crossed a line. A line in which there is no return."
Meaningfully, Astraea Nightshade says, "I have wandered this forest for one hundred and thirty-two years. I have amassed quite a few allies, and quite a bit of power."
With a short look, Astraea Nightshade says, "It would not take much for me to make your life miserable."
Pointedly, Astraea Nightshade says, "Ishant is my prized child. When others have disappointed me, he has raised the bar."
Astraea Nightshade says, "I am quite loathe to share him with anyone, let alone a newcomer to Glomdoring."
Astraea Nightshade says, "But I am merely his mother, and sons reach an age when that means less than perhaps it should."
Astraea Nightshade says, "Regardless, I will be watching you quite closely, and I hope that my negativity quickly becomes proven naught but mere paranoia."
You say to Astraea, "Never, I will always look up to you and you are right you power will never fade."
Reiha ri`Tou says, "I have no intention to disgrace the family, or to make your son unhappy. I may be a newcomer, but I have every intention to uphold the good reputation of the Nightshades."
Astraea Nightshade says, "Then if what you say is true, we will have no problem, and I look forward to having you within our beloved brood."
