Why would we want to remove Mewtwo? Mewtwo is the leader of the clones! He's the one that CREATED them. Read the First Movie plot again.

If Shiri really IS Mew and is aiming to eliminate Mewtwo, this is a BAD THING. Hammer down.

Does this have anything to do with the first movie though? And in any case wasn't the original plot different or something to the American version? If Mewtwo is around I'm like 90% sure he's not a townie.

CONFRONT isnt a pokemon ability. Its not a pokemon move. At all (I reckon I don' used bulbapedia). Dunno about you, but my ability is an actual move (breadcrumb!). Also, Mew is like the most powerful pokemon in existence, doesnt make sense for you only to be able to randomly confront people hoping its Mewtwo. I actually was kind of expecting him to claim Mew.

If you read the flavor at the beginning of the game, and you also watched the movie, you know that the clones were evil when MewTwo made them, but they got uneviled later.

Assuming this game continues in that vein, MewTwo would still be bad, and Mew would be a good guy.

It's pretty obvious that the plot of this game is based on the group of Pokemon clones from the first movie. At the end, they all turned good and just went off to form the already-mentioned colony.

Go back to Silferras' original post and the flavor text discussion she posted. It's obviously a discussion between Mewtwo and someone else, possibly Mew, because Mew is playful like that.

Anyway, if your claim is true, you're a threat to Mewtwo, which is bad for the clones (town). If you're lying, you're lying about your claim and should still be lynched.

Good catch there about the Confront. There's no Pokemon move called Confront.

The town is the clones. Mewtwo created the clones. At the end of the first movie, Mewtwo and the clones turned good. They are good from then on.

You don't lose the game...you just have to deal with a cult or SK that you otherwise might not. It's also interesting how between you and Tekora, you're trying to rule out basically everything it could be as scummy. Investigator, doctor, this unusual role, and the standard actual scum tells of nightkill immune, bomb, etc. I bet you would have had excuses for roleblocker or watcher or whatever if I had those roles, too.

I don't know why it's confront, does anyone else have an ability that isn't a pokemon move? Doesn't seem like it'd be surprising, what kind of investigate ability could there be? There's no mindreading skills AFAIK cause that wouldn't make sense.

Why were you expecting me to claim Mew? Did you know there was a Mew in the game? If there is, where are they if they're not me? And how did you know that in the first place?

I completely forgot about Mewtwo going good, tbh. I haven't seen that movie in forever.

That plus other people saying that if Mewtwo popped up in this game he probably wouldn't be town aligned influenced my thinking.

Because why would I have the town win condition AND the ability to kill Mewtwo? Come to think of it, why would I have a scum win condition and the ability to kill Mewtwo?

Plus Mewtwo was evil before the first movie? How is Mew a villain in or after the movie in any case? And how are you so sure of what's when?

Because you needed something outrageous to stop the righteous fury of the wagon that has come down upon ye. Mew is a weird wildcard. And of course SHIRI would be Mew. Shiri could never be just a Weedle or something.

You're forgetting that there seems to be two scum groups.

The first is Mew's impostors, who are just playing the game, and only eliminating people, not making them faint. Arix was their victim last night.

The second is the SK/Cult/Bad Guys, who are attacking the clones, and causing them to faint. Daganev was THEIR victim.

Ok, so you're trying to rule out vanilla too. You wouldn't actually have accepted any roleclaim, so your word is basically worthless on this subject, and you still haven't defended yourself properly from earlier.

And if there is another Mew, they should speak up before lynching me. That way you'll know to kill them when I'm dead. If they don't, you should actually consider that I'm telling the truth.
