How's it contradictory? Something happened to Daganev, you're my guess as to what that 'something' was.
It's contradictory because with Daganev gone, I won't be arguing over every little thing with him. So as a reason for voting me it's out, leaving a reason for suspecting me, but:
It's also not contradictory but rather suspiciously self-negating in that rather than or in addition to me, you, Solanis, probably Fania, Shamarah, Zynna etc. all have an interest (given the power) in having either me or Daganev dead (and then blaming the other one and getting them killed, hypothetically) because of the annoying drawn-out arguments we caused last game. The fact it instantly came to your mind could also be one mark down for you in that scenario, though it doesn't seem like enough to conclude anyone's a scum over on its own merits.
Shiri2009-04-06 11:35:39
Oh yeah, and Caerulo, although he didn't seem as fazed as the rest of the listed names for some reason, and not just because of the cult thing.

Pontification at its best, right here. I'm voting you because I suspect you had a hand in killing Daganev. And putting pressure on you to claim is a good enough Day 1 vote for me. 'nuff said.

What? Hang on, let me get the dictionary out to check.
Ok, doesn't sound like "expressing judgements in a dogmatic way" to me. Maybe you meant a different word.
The statement you made can be interpreted in one of two ways:
"we should get rid of Shiri because of the arguments with Daganev", which is contradictory because Daganev is gone, and
"we should get rid of Shiri because he had an interest in getting rid of Daganev and thus is a probable cause", which is not contradictory but, if it were a good reason, seems to point the finger just as much or more at you and maybe a couple of the others who were aggravated by said argument.
You seem to be emphasising the second one in the quoted post here.

Okay, I count 23 cloned pokemon in total. Meowth and Blastoise were both part of the list, as was my own one. I think it is safe to assume those are the ones who will be innocent clones.
I don't think so. The first post clearly indicates that they are imposters, which very likely mean that they are pokemon of that list, just imposters.
Also, of note is how that there are two different 'kill' types. Looking at the first post, Arix was eliminated, while Daganev fainted. I think that it very likely indicates a Mafia group and a SK/vigilante.
Unknown2009-04-06 11:49:23
Nope, probably just Arix chose an imposter, and then died.
By the way Shiri, I like those arguments! They were funnn.

You're not making me not want to vote you, you know that? Fine, replace 'pontification' with whatever big word means 'speaking lots of words without actually saying anything meaningful, in an effort to mix up the facts'.
Shiri2009-04-06 11:54:40
The SK question is up for grabs at the moment. It seems like there should be one, but if Arix was eliminated by choosing a scum, and Daganev was punked by an SK, what happened to the scum kill? Maybe we'll hear back from a roleblocker later, but it could also be a doctor, in which case we don't want to hear it. And it might be that there's no SK/other scum group at all, instead a cult or something. Also, it could be that BOTH scum groups went for Daganev and only one showed up, although the possibility of that is probably lower.
Solanis: well, maybe. You didn't seem too fond of me jumping out on your bizarre posting habits that game, but I guess that's a different issue. Maybe I'll go through the thread later and see who was most annoyed by Daganev vs me who is also in this game, but as I already said, it doesn't seem like a particularly strong case to make without something more, like scummy habits as the thread goes on or an investigator/roleblocker claim.

OK. If that's what you meant, say so! Although since I already clearly expressed myself twice now, which you haven't replied to at all, why is that your complaint of choice? Detailless summary: the reason you claimed for voting me implicates a number of people, including yourself, so if it were a good reason you shouldn't be using it.
And don't complain about words and then use ones which mean something you didn't intend to say, tch.

Yeah, but it was interesting! And we might want to explore the fact that both games, you chased me and tried to get a lynch on me. And both times, you were scum.

What "both games"?

Super Smash, and the Lazy Mod.
You kept throwing in a "Solanis looks suspicious" every few posts.

But this isn't really relevant. Yet. Maybe I'll just stop talking, so I don't say dodgy stuff and make myself look suspicious last game. But then I end up lurking.

Did I? OK. Last game you were acting suspicious and I just acted on it! (I forgot the smash bros one already though.) Anyway, you're right, this isn't relevant at all. And don't think I won't call people out on being scummy just because I was scum myself 2 games in a row!

Okay Shiri. *pat pat* (Sorry I just can't get over your avatar, I just imagine that's what you actually look like. Teehee.)

I don't know about the Arix one. It could be that 'eliminated' is simply the way Arix would have died if he targeted scum, but looking at his role, the word 'eliminated' seems to be very specific. Initially, I considered the possibility that Arix might have targeted Daganev, and hence the reason why both died, but they have two different kill messages, which is what struck me. And Arix's death scene was very different from Daganev's, one went missing, the other is 'in deep sleep'.
My hunch on this is that we have a vigilante. If one of us decides to take matters into our own hands, it is very likely that a clone vigilante would make their target faint rather than disappear. Of course, my theory falls apart if Arix simply targeted a scum, so take all this with a pinch of salt.

It could indeed be that eliminated is the way Arix would have died if he targetted scum: i.e, the scum noticed him hiding, then eliminated him. I don't think we can rule that out.
I do think we can rule out vig as what happened here though. It would be retarded for a vig to kill night 0 when they have no info and thus just under a 75% chance of killing a townie. We might still have one, but we'll find that out tonight if anything.
Shiri2009-04-06 12:55:59
Wait, my maths sucks, just OVER 75%. Either way, most vigs shouldn't move on night 0.

Vote Count!

With 18 alive, it's 10 to lynch!
Well, okay, maybe the vote count'll be more interesting when people wake up.
