'Scum having an investigator'? I'm not following that, Tekora. What's the proof?

We started with 20 people. There are 15 left now, with one scum down. I doubt we have two scum groups, and even if there were, they would not have 4 people. I'd imagine three or four scums and then one SK. So, you are just wrong.
20? I could have sworn I remember seeing 17 when this game started.
Wait... no... that was the Lazy Mod game.
I'm steaming right now from all the pressure. I'm going to take a 30 minute break to install Civ 3 and come back and do the calculation again. Please refrain from hammering until then.

No proof, just a suspicion based on the fact that Daganev died Night 0, followed by Shamarah on Night 1, both by the non-Mew's impostors scum team/SK. Too much of a coincidence for me.
Casilu2009-04-12 03:20:54
Actually, we don't know who took out Sham. Maybe it was an O.D.? Who knows? Also, why is every possibility focused on multiple scum groups, I'm thinking night one was Arix's power, maybe night two could have been a vigilante taking out one of those?

At this point, if my suspicions are correct, 4 townies and 1 scum have died. We started with 20 people. If there were 4 of Mew's imposters, including Shiri, and either 1 SK or 2 Team Rocket members, that means that there are either 10 or 11 townies left. You lynch me, we're down to 9 or 10. Then 2 more die tonight. That means the town is stuck at either 7 or 8 left while Mew's imposters have 3 left and the SK still remains, (8 town vs 4 scum) or 2 Team Rocket(?) members run around (7 town vs 5 scum).
Fixed my mistake, we started with 20 people, not 17. Nevertheless, lynching me still puts the town in a bad situation, especially if there IS a second scum group, and not an SK.
Like Furien said, if you don't believe my roleclaim, have someone prove it wrong. If you can't, then what's the better choice for a lynch? A person who helped lead the charge to take down the main scum leader, but might be an SK or third-party because Balizar said that he's 'playing town the wrong way'? Or a person who's proven themselves to be unreliably wavering in their opinions, who admittedly doubts her own ability to sniff out scum, and who actively defended aforementioned scum leader?
I'm going to bed now. If I get lynched, so be it. I'm a vanilla townie, no big loss. But with 2 townies dying each night, ask yourself, can you really afford to gamble on a lynch?

Maybe there are two scum groups, but why would Shiri's impostor group need to have an investigator to lynch Dag and Shamarah? If you are to get rid of people who lead people into voting for other people, then they are not bad choices. Wait...does that last sentence make sense?

I don't buy Myrkr's claim. Why would Myrkr bodyguard anyone so early on if it meant certain death for her if her target was targetted?
I find it highly unlikely that Myrkr can't remember who she protected Night 0, nor could I see why she would randomly protect anyone night 0 putting her life at risk for no reason.
Likewise, I can't see why she would risk her life and waste a chance to save a power role later on by protecting Bali Night 1. I understand that Bali led the charge against Shiri and gained a lot of credibility because he was right, and it would make sense to protect him if there was no risk to self. But, Bali voted for Shiri based on analysis of posts not on a declaration of power. So it seems strange to risk her life to protect him, rather than wait to learn who doctor/investigator/rezzer/etc. role was and protect them, who could do more good with an extra day.
So, vote: Mrykr
I need to read the back and forth about Kiriwe and Tekora when I'm not so sleepy to get a better read on them I came here right before bed only to learn if Mrykr had claimed -- wasn't expecting so many pages!

I'm not entirely buying Myrkr's claim. Bali, have you told us what message you got last night that prompted you to suspect Myrkr? (paraphrased of course)
Firstly, Shiri's ability is also called Transform. What are the odds of two different roles having the same ability name, but do different things?
Secondly, depending on what message Bali got, the bodyguard role is rather convenient. Harmless enough to explain why she doesn't die from mafia, but useful enough that the town wouldn't want to lynch her.
Thirdly, Ditto is on the side of the clones because Mew says so? Does this sound plausible to you? It sounds fishy to me.
However, I'm not voting for her until Bali reveals what he got last night. After all, we got a hider in the game. A bodyguard would be the opposite of that and thus not improbable.
As for Kiriwe and Tekora:
Kiriwe: Hard to pin down the exact reason, but she does give off a slightly scummy vibe to me. However, not very concrete.
Tekora: Very aggressive, but that's normal for him. Still, not a good excuse for that. Also, rolefishing for doctors of all roles? Not a good thing. Still, he was the first to vote for Shiri, which makes unlikely to be scum, or at least, in the same scum as Shiri.
@Dugan: Yeah, you're right, there are five others who have posted less than you. Two of them other than Zynna are on my list as well, but as they've not actually done anything scummy, they're at the bottom. As for Casilu and Solanis, I was busy at that time and didn't have time to analyse them. I didn't pull my list solely from the post counts, I determine lurkiness by seeing if I can recall what that person has said. If I recall nothing of use or don't even remember that person is in the game, I call that lurkiness. That said, you remind me to look at Casilu's and Solanis' posts to see if I can get anything.

The two people transform thing is actually a very, very solid point. On top of my prior suspicions: Unvote. Vote: Myrkr

Alright, I've looked through Casilu's and Solanis' posts. Solanis has been posting little information as well, so he joins Furien and Llandros. Casilu has been posting more now, so for now, she's neutral.

While I am still very suspicious of Myrkr, I am also suspicious of Tekora. He is mad cause the possilbe protector wasn't told to protect him when he claims he is the last of a mason group with no other powers who is convinced he will be targetted tonight when his other two mason pairs died on consecutive nights. Forget about using a protective power to protect someone with some importance, protect me, I am a mason?
Unknown2009-04-12 10:55:20
I think that the two masons dying on consecutive nights is be a coincidence. It's not that unlikely. If they had an investigator, they couldn't investigate the same person as they kill. How would the scum know the identities of the other masons?
Tekora's horrible logic in "you lynch me, you lose" was pretty appalling.

I still don't understand why mafia would have an investigator. As I said, I am suspicious of Myrkr as well. Ditto is a very strange role to have in game of imposters vs clones. Ditto is the ultimate pokemon imposter.

Not impossible. You saw how Shiri had the innocent ability and how he was the mafia godfather? It is possible the the mafia 'lackeys' have some powers as well.

Hrm, you have a point there about how it is very unlikely that they can determine the mason partners when they've been killing them off. Besides, aren't masons usually considered french vanilla and of not much threat to the scum? Why would they purposely target the masons?
