I reiterate that Silferras could have decided to use creative license.
After all, in Pokemon, there's a move that has two different effects based off of the Pokemon using it. (This is not transform, however)

OKAY GUYS. Since you want lynches without it becoming night. I'm going to dance around and use:

Skips the next night, and someone will most likely get a one-shot dayvig ability(aka Solarbeam). This is going based on what happened in Silf's previous pokemon game. I can only pray it is the town's ability not the scum. (hopefully Venosaur was not the solarbeam role)
