Vote Count!

Kiriwe (4) - Tekora, Fania, Rika, Solanis
Fania (1) - Dugan

That's a lynch.
Unknown2009-04-20 03:43:09
As the day marches on, information and suspicions are thrown around almost carelessly, the remaining players milling around in apparent confusion at who to lynch. After tossing a few potential targets around, majority consensus eventually focuses on Kiriwe, who snarls in response to the decision and disappears off the island too fast for the eye to see.

Mew appears in a puff of pink and cartwheels through the air, giggling happily. See, that was fun!

"Hardly," retorts Mewtwo, rubbing at an angry-looking bruise. "I take it that your appearance means this farce is over?"

Yupyup, you all win! Hope you had fun~ Another giggle and an aerial loop-the-loop. I'll return your friends soon!

TOWN WINS!

QUOTE
You are MEWTWO. (Zynna)

Powerful and introspective, you search for the meaning of your engineered existence, and have found part of it on this uncharted island - protecting your fellow clones from the harshness of the outside world. You're not quite sure what your over-playful counterpart is up to, but you're willing to play along for now.

Though you are fully capable of unmasking the imposters in one fell swoop, you limit yourself for the sake of this... "game." Once every night, you can read the mind of one target with PSYCHIC and ferret out their true intentions.

You win when all the imposters have been unmasked.

QUOTE
You are DEWGONG. (Diamondais)

A clone like the rest of your fellows on the island, you have been leading a life of freedom since the fateful battle against your natural-born brethren. Though the waters are not as cold as you prefer, you are thankful for the chance to live a normal life... Though this "game" does seem to be spicing it up!

Once every night, you can SAFEGUARD a target to protect them from any and all night actions.

You win when all the imposters have been unmasked.

QUOTE
You are TENTACRUEL. (Caerulo/Kiradawea)

A clone like the rest of your fellows on the island, you have been leading a life of freedom since the fateful battle against your natural-born brethren. You have a bit more freedom than most because of your aquatic home, but you've heeded the call and returned to play the game.

Once every night, you can WRAP a target with your 80 (!) tentacles, effectively immobilising them for the night as well as preventing any actions from being performed on them. You cannot use this on yourself for obvious reasons.

You win when all the imposters have been unmasked.

QUOTE
You are SCYTHER. (Casilu)

A clone like the rest of your fellows on the island, you have been leading a life of freedom since the fateful battle against your natural-born brethren. Impatient and competitive, you feel that the rules of the game make for an unexciting pace - and so you've taken things into your own hands. Scythes. Whatever.

Once every night, you can FALSE SWIPE a target to eliminate them from the game. You don't particularly want to hurt them, but you'll do what it takes to win.

You win when all the imposters have been unmasked.

QUOTE
You are PIKACHU. (Jack)

A clone like the rest of your fellows on the island, you have been leading a life of freedom since the fateful battle against your natural-born brethren. Though you trust its instigator not to be malicious, you don't want to see anyone hurt during the game.

Once every night, you can THUNDERWAVE a target to paralyse them temporarily, preventing them from performing any actions for that night.

You win when all the imposters have been unmasked.

QUOTE
You are GYARADOS. (Rika)

A clone like the rest of your fellows on the island, you have been leading a life of freedom since the fateful battle against your natural-born brethren. Hotheaded and prone to destructive urges, you've nevertheless managed to avoid doing any lasting harm to the island. Still, no one goes to that beach you wrecked last season any more...

Twice during the entire game, you may perform TWISTER during the day by posting it in the thread in bold. As you are unable to control its path, it will randomly eliminate one of those still in the game.

You win when all the imposters have been unmasked.

QUOTE
You are NINETALES. (Dugan)

A clone like the rest of your fellows on the island, you have been leading a life of freedom since the fateful battle against your natural-born brethren. Elegant and enigmatic, your innate wisdom is rarely disregarded by the colony, and your wrath when crossed is something to be feared.

You know better than most how to hold a GRUDGE. When you are eliminated during the night or lynched, the last Pokemon to touch you will lose all their powers. This is a passive power.

You can also activate your GRUDGE prematurely by PMing me at night, which will completely neutralise the powers of a single player targetting you during that night (random if more than one).

You win when all the imposters have been unmasked.

QUOTE
You are VAPOREON. (Bali)

A clone like the rest of your fellows on the island, you have been leading a life of freedom since the fateful battle against your natural-born brethren. Naturally inquisitive and a master of camouflaging yourself in water, you jumped at the chance to join in on the game of 'find the fake.'

Once every night, you can use your ACID ARMOR to take on the formlessness of water and spy on one of your fellow participants. You may choose to either watch (see if anyone targets them) or track (see if they target anyone), but not both.

You win when all the imposters have been unmasked.

QUOTE
You are VILEPLUME. (Solanis)

A clone like the rest of your fellows on the island, you have been leading a life of freedom since the fateful battle against your natural-born brethren. While not as aesthetically pleasing as your sister evolution Bellossom, your love for sunlight is no less compelling, and your powers are just as effective.

Once during the game, you may perform SUNNY DAY by posting it in the thread in bold. This can be done either during the day proper or during twilight, and will skip the following night phase once the current day is concluded. It will also make the sunlight especially bright for the next five days.

You win when all the imposters have been unmasked.

QUOTE
You are RAPIDASH. (Fania)

A clone like the rest of your fellows on the island, you have been leading a life of freedom since the fateful battle against your natural-born brethren. Quick on your feet as your name suggests, you love nothing more than to race the wind, or pit your lightning speed against your friends.

Thrice throughout the game, you may use your AGILITY to intercept a random action directed towards your target. If successful, you will replace your target as the target of the intercepted action, but it will have a 50% chance of failing due to your speed. This can only be done during the night.

(Note: All actions that come through me can be intercepted. Night-PMs between players cannot.)

You win when all the imposters have been unmasked.

Seriously?

Seriously. That's why we didn't kill Daganev and Tekora night 1 - we were going to (meaning Tekora was correct in his reasoning, but wrong in practice) but Shamarah figured he could manipulate them. Then he posted twice, neither of which said anything, then you vigged him. Also he had solarbeam after Solanis fired his deal off.
I was roleblocked night 1 (but only found out halfway through day 1...doh.gif not that it mattered), we were going for Dugan since he tends to lurk like hell. Hilariously the roleblocker was Jack, but he wasn't thinking straight so he actually defended me day 1.

My claim was retarded in retrospect, but I didn't have that many options due to the clone crap and the town had already decided for no reason anyway so it didn't really matter.

You are MEOWTH. (Arix)

A clone like the rest of your fellows on the island, you have been leading a life of freedom since the fateful battle against your natural-born brethren. Crafty and fond of shiny objects, your pragmatic cowardice has served you well over the years since your creation.

Once every night, you can use FAINT ATTACK to hide behind a target of your choice. You will be safe from being eliminated from the game for the duration of the night as long as your target is town and not targetted for elimination themselves. If you try to hide behind an imposter, you will automatically be eliminated.

You win when all the imposters have been unmasked.

QUOTE
You are PSYDUCK. (Llandros)

You are a clone like the rest of your fellows on the island... or so you think. That's what everyone else is, anyway. You vaguely remember an epic staring contest with a mirror image, but it's been a while, and your headaches certainly haven't let up since.

There is a vague feeling that you might have been useful if your headaches weren't getting in the way, but... they are. You have no powers.

You win when all the imposters have been unmasked.

QUOTE
You are WIGGLYTUFF. (Reiha)

A clone like the rest of your fellows on the island, you have been leading a life of freedom since the fateful battle against your natural-born brethren. Your song is as sleep-inducing as your unevolved form's, but you've given that up (your audience seems more pissed than rested when they wake) in favour of trying to keep everyone's spirits up.

You may only post in the happycheerful colour pink (#FFC0CB or #FF00FF). You have no other abilities.

You win when all the imposters have been unmasked.

QUOTE
You are CHARIZARD. (Tekora)

A clone like the rest of your fellows on the island, you have been leading a life of freedom since the fateful battle against your natural-born brethren. Fiery-tempered and always enjoying a good challenge, you've nevertheless struck up a steady friendship with your starter companions, Blastoise and Venusaur, whom you would trust with your very life.

You may speak to Blastoise (Daganev) and Venusaur (Shamarah) via PM at night.

You win when all the imposters have been unmasked.

QUOTE
You are BLASTOISE. (Daganev)

I targetted you Night 0, and two people died on the first day, so I assumed that proved you weren't scum. What I didn't realise was that Arix, as Meowth, had hidden behind you Night 0, effectively offing himself. Night 1 I targetted Shamarah, but I guess I was nightkilled.

QUOTE
You are MEW. (Shiri)

Happy-go-lucky and always up for a fun time, you're the mastermind of this game, bringing in your friends to liven up your stolid counterpart's existence on the lonely little island. Maybe you can even teach him not to be so serious all the time~

As the legendary leader of your imposter group, you are able to TRANSFORM at will and school your mind enough to appear innocent to all attempts to breach your privacy (this is an innate ability). Once every night, you can also TAG a target to eliminate them from the game. This power will pass to your compatriots in pretense if you are unmasked.

You may speak to your imposter friends Sandslash (Furien), Ditto (Myrkr), and Venusaur (Shamarah) via PM at night.

You win when your imposters outnumber the clones.

QUOTE
You are SANDSLASH. (Furien)

Quiet and unassuming, you are more than capable of protecting yourself when the situation calls for it. While you feel a little uncomfortable replacing your cloned mirror image, even with their permission, your leader's assurance that it's all in good fun is good enough for you.

Twice during the game, you can use SANDSTORM at night to erase all tracks and traces of that night's activities. This will conceal everything but the role names of all eliminated players at the dawn of the following day.

You may speak to your fellow imposters Mew (Shiri), Ditto (Myrkr), and Venusaur (Shamarah) via PM at night.

You win when your fellow imposters outnumber the clones.

QUOTE
You are DITTO. (Myrkr)

Just as playful and mischievous as your leader, you enjoy pushing your unique abilities to their limit, and this is just the perfect game for you. While natural-born yourself, rather than cloned like the others on the island, you find the situation a new and intriguing challenge.

Once every night, you can use TRANSFORM into a target to replicate their appearance completely. Your imitation will be good enough that you will be mistaken for your target if they are investigated, and it will trick the investigator into thinking that your mutual target is guilty. However, while you're skilled enough to mask your true form, you are not quite as able to hide your true thoughts.

(Note: You will make your target appear guilty for that night, but you're not good enough to look innocent if directly targeted by a cop.)

You may speak to your fellow imposters Mew (Shiri), Sandslash (Furien), and Venusaur (Shamarah) via PM at night.

You win when your fellow imposters outnumber the clones.

QUOTE
You are VENUSAUR. (Shamarah)

Ponderous in body but quick in mind, you were somehow persuaded by your leader to join the 'harmless little game.' Since your cloned mirror image was willing to be replaced after a similar bout of persuasion, you've taken over as the third of a close-knit starter group with Charizard and Blastoise, whom you would apparently trust with your very life.

You may speak to your 'friends' Charizard (Tekora) and Blastoise (Daganev) via PM at night. They do not know your true alignment.

You may also speak to your fellow imposters Mew (Shiri), Sandslash (Furien), and Ditto (Myrkr) via PM at night.

You win when your fellow imposters outnumber the clones.

(MODNOTE:

Night 1 - Choice between Defense form and Attack form
Night 3 - Choice between Speed form and form not chosen
Night 5 - Last form

Due to your periods of rest, you now have the option of regaining your Attack form or your Defense form. As you do not have enough energy as of yet to pursue both, you may only choose one. PM me with either ATTACK or DEFENSE.

Attack - You can now fool those creatures by altering your appearance at will, and hence will appear innocent when investigated.
Defense - You can now absorb attacks by altering your cellular structure, giving you an immunity to eliminations at night.
Speed - You can now configure your body for superior agility and speed, allowing your attacks to bypass any form of protection. )

Also we should have used Furien's cleanup ability right from the start, I have no idea why we didn't.
Unknown2009-04-20 04:17:29
Sorry for drowning out the conversation! It was a pretty interesting game - the mafia was supposed to stand a pretty good chance of winning, and I guess they did, to some extent. One mistake: Casilu's kill should have gone through on Night 5 according to Shiri (simultaneous resolution of kills), thus taking care of Solanis, but I had SK kills coming before vig kills in my own action priority order.

Anyway, hope you all had fun!
Zynna2009-04-20 04:17:49
It was a fun game, although I'm sad I didn't get to really use my investigative powers.

I targeted Shiri Night 0, and was told (due to his passive skill) that he was town. The next night I tried to target Fania, but wasn't able to (not sure if because I was blocked or the sandstorm). Then I died by the twister. sad.gif

But entertaining game! Thanks for hosting, Silferras.
Jack2009-04-20 04:28:43
I had fun for the tiny amount of time I was playing it. I think it was a radical improvement from the fiasco last time, anyway, and I think my scum-sniffing instincts are pretty good. Hopefully I'll do even better next time. tongue.gif
