I noticed that a rather large amount of us play WOW, or used to, and I was wondering if any of you wanted to get together on WOW sometime and hang out.

Damn casuals.

This would probably be hard to organize as we probably all play on different servers, alliance or horde, different time zones, etc.

If you were commited we would all make new chars on a specific server, and all level up together.

Can also offer linked accounts for those willing to try the game out, they get more experience gain.

I've been wanting to try out WoW for quite a while. I did get a free 10-day test period which I registered and then was unable to use due to some unknown reason (I probably forgot about it after a test run in the newbie area) and am thus unable to get another test-out. I remember liking the visual atmosphere, which I hold to a very high regard.
Might buy a month or so to try it out at some point. I've more incentive if I already "know" someone, of course.

Are there other MMOs that people play lusternia on? Preferably ones that don't require as many hours per day as Lusternia does to play

Warhammer Online, woo. Feel free to PM for trial referrals.

Don't think you need a trial referal, I was about to download the 10-day trial for WO untill I realized I won't be able to play for 7 out of the next 10 days heh.
Diamondais2009-04-08 20:44:12
You tend to get stuff if you refer someone.
Desitrus2009-04-08 20:47:27
Eh, I play LOTRO in my spare time sometimes. I don't really casual it up in WoW, but I have 70-80's on both sides and could transfer somewhere if something started.

I know. BUT! You lose nothing for getting the trial from me. Instead, you gain a big thanks and know you've made me happy. Really, win-win.

He's just after the new pets for referrals.

Don't you need me to actually pay a subscription to get that?
How is LOTRO, do you have to spend 20 minutes running from quest to quest?

Nope, there's a free trial right now anyway so you can check it out. They have really been working on playability. Even added an in-game quest guide type thing, very helpful.
Daganev2009-04-08 21:31:06
one of these days I'll actually have 10 days of free time to try these things , but that day is not yet here

Okay, WOW, to be punny. Glad to see all the intrest.
1. If you haven't tried it before, well, try it! WOW is pretty easy to get into, and levelling isn't a pain in the keister. I advise people play a Druid at first, simply because it exposes them to all of the basic play-styles, but it's up to them!
2. Server-Wise, I was thinking of doing it on Wyrmcrest Accord, it's a nice new server that has pretty solid RP.
3. Movement logistics isn't that much of a trouble. I was thinking of moving my Druid over anyway, and if we decide on Horde instead, well, we can always just make new chars and use DKs to provide the cash, right?
4. Desitrus, I've had more Chars in warcraft then you've had facial hairs. So basically I could have stopped at 4.

Oh, and you can get to 80 in a month if you play WOW maybe an hour or two a day. It's pretty easy.

How about we all play Darkfall instead.
