It's not you being OCD. It's you being unobservant! The PSUM alias has been in there since day one, just about. tongue.gif

Stealing this thread I know, but for a Treant Plugin, how about something which tracks COMMUNE/CITYENEMIES and colours everyone in the list like this:

custom_colour="17"
enabled="y"
group="Enemy_Colours"
keep_evaluating="y"
match="\\bAison\\b"
name="aison_"
regexp="y"
sequence="100"
other_text_colour="red"
other_back_colour="pink"

(Yeah, wrong thread! But, I'll make one. And, it won't have one trigger per name, either. Eeek!)

I'd say that coding your own is best. If you're willing to though. I'm currently coding my own(CMUD) and so far it heals my prompt and cures basic things like broken arms and legs, prone and writhe. Slowly working on curing blindness, paralysis and stupidity for bashing. Sooner or later I'll be into the fray and conflicts. It'll be oh so fun. biggrin.gif

If you dont want to, you can always use Treant. Systems are supposedly to only help you cure your afflictions, next step is for you to bring down your opponent.

Just my two cents, though.

I agree that coding your own is the best way to go, so that you actually understand what's happening in combat rather than relying on a system entirely.

The one warning I'll give about it, though, is be prepared to lose very frequently if not all the time until you have a solid foundation down. It -does- get frustrating, especially when you're losing against people you should be able to beat, but who have bought their systems and can out-cure you.

The sheer number of afflictions and ways in which they can be given, not to mention the combination of effects you get when they interact, is very daunting. I make Treant free because I'd like to see more people getting involved in the game rather than letting this hurdle stand in their way. The bonus comes from not even having to get so involved in combat myself to learn a lot of cool things you can/should do with your curing, which is great for someone who really wants to fight and just doesn't have the time to play the game 40 hours a week.

I think this pretty well sums up my philosophy. I don't necessarily think that writing your own from scratch is the best way unless you are one of those few special people who can pull it off. I highly recommend getting one - any one you choose - and then learning how it works very well. People are right in that you have to know how your system works and be able to tweak it as needed. The idea is not to start from nothing and write a whole system, but start with a good one and make it yours.

Then again, I, for example, have no idea what I am doing in code. I know what I want it to do, but I have simply no knowledge of -how- to in code. I can make basic aliases/triggers/echoes but that's about it. I should consider either AG or Treant in the near future as well - Nezha's last system update is from what, October?
