Yeah, but now, what we're going to do, is turn the vote around, get 7 or 8 votes on you, and make YOU roleclaim. See how that works?

Why do you think it's a good idea to allow someone to be stubborn and stonewall the game? Is that really the sort of behavior you want to encourage?

But I might as well save us all some time, since I have to go home now, and have a long day tommorow.

I am a clock maker, and I can MAKE A CLOCK

And now you all know that night starts in 12 hours. Fun.

Since Rika posted last night that there was an 18 hour deadline until day started, I could see how Kiriwe might have made me use my power at night.

So can we lynch Casilu now for being, 1: Defensive, 2: Stubborn, 3: Uncooperative and 4:faking remorse?

Bali, if there is anyone who fell for your trap, if indeed you had a trap, and it's not just skill you are using... I would suggest Archer2 or Othero as better candidates.
Diamondais2009-04-24 01:15:38
That.. really doesn't seem all that beneficial to us... wtf.gif
Rika2009-04-24 01:16:48
12 hour deadline from Daganev's post. Top votee gets lynched. In case of a tie, a coin will be flipped (or die rolled, if there are more than one people with most votes).
Arix2009-04-24 01:17:02
well he did say it was lame
Rika2009-04-24 01:18:43
The "u haz 12 hrs b4 u die" vote count:

Casilu 6 (Daganev, Othero, Archer, Arix, Diamondais, Furien)
Bali 1 (Shaddus)
Arix 2 (Silferras, Celina)
Shaddus 1 (Shiri)
Daganev 3 (Dugan, Bali, Tekora)
Unknown2009-04-24 01:21:23
Ugh, this game all of a sudden got confusing. Making that clock wasn't helpful for the town. I still want to know why Casilu has had a change of heart with roleclaiming. WTF did Bali do? And what is Tekora going on about? What did Dugan even catch?

Are you being weirdly aggressive for a reason?
Arix2009-04-24 01:21:48
well this should be interesting
Tekora2009-04-24 01:25:20
Hurrying Night doesn't help the town.

My vote stays.

VOTE DAGANEV

Shiri2009-04-24 01:38:50
Balizar what the hell, what are you talking about.
Arix why are you voting for Daganev when he just proved his power.

Unvote: Shaddus Vote: Casilu because now we have a deadline and Casilu at the very least looks scummier than Daganev, even though that's not much. I've seen that power be a scum ability in the past, but I have no explanation for what the hell trap some of you people are on about so let's hear it.
kiriwe2009-04-24 02:18:55
Back from work!

Ok, he's outed his power, and it doesn't go along with what I found out last night.

I guess I'll have to explain a little bit about what I can do, to explain why Daganev bothered me.

I can find out people's role, not alignment or powers. Last night, I targeted Daganev, and got nothing. Zip, nada.

I was asking him to find out if he had some sort of innate ability (something that doesn't require activation, but is on all the time, like nightkill immunity, or innocence on investigation) that would keep his role hidden from me, but that's not what he claimed, and proved.

The only other thing I can think of is that somebody targeted him and kept his role hidden from me, and the only people that would benefit from keeping their role hidden is scum, therefore:

Vote: Daganev

Hrm. It's certainly possible that a clockmaker or whatever (which is clearly what he is) has innocence, but isn't there also the possibility that you were roleblocked? The latter seems more likely than the former.

If I was roleblocked, I would not have gotten a successful investigation message.

But...you got nothing. That's not successful.

BTW, since you've described your powers already, can you describe your role name and whatnot?

Good enough for me, that was what I found weird and was asking about earlier.

Also, I don't see any point in asking for her role name at this point - Kiriwe isn't under any suspicion that I can see, and the only person I want to hear from is Daganev. From what Kiriwe is saying, it sounds like she got a successful investigation in that it went through (hence not roleblocked) but she got nothing from it.

I did get a message that said that I investigated him and didn't find anything out. I would call that successfull, regardless of what I found or didn't find.

I'm going to wait on giving a role name right now.

The point is to make sure her claim is airtight. Daganev has proven that he's a clockmaker and that he makes clocks. That could still be a scum, but it could also be that someone screwed with Kiriwe, or that someone screwed with Daganev in some way that doesn't imply that he and they are scum, or that Kiriwe's lying for some reason. Since she doesn't lose anything by describing the rolename and whatnot, all it does is help us confirm if she's lying (she can't prove she's telling the truth, particularly since any given ability could be scum, but if her claim is crap it can still help.) There's no reason not to get this out of the way, so.

Disagree. That's highly vague. It could be anything - roleblocker on you, "everything-protection" like Caerulo last game, innocence (why on a clockmaker? And that would involve having 2 powers), etc.

why
kiriwe2009-04-24 02:41:06
well, I was going to wait in case somebody might try to claim an alternate name for my role, but then I thought about it and realized that any alternate name would include my name.

I'm a Reporter.
