a mason is usually a townie role, but this game is all kinds of flip-flopped and crazy, so it would make sense for there to be a mason who is, if not scum, at least anti-town. Having said that, I'm going to revote from yesterday. VOTE: SOLANIS
Unknown2009-05-09 11:06:38
What I meant is: he/she didn't tell me that he/she had any abilities. I then assumed that he/she was vanilla. We only sent a two messages each to each other. We didn't really have a conversation.
Casilu2009-05-09 15:03:27
Part of me wonders if the mechanazis could be some kind of cult.

Here is one of Zynna's post:
That is basically the reasoning she gave for the sixth vote on Solanis. I don't know, but to more, that seems more like a OMGUS vote in the defence of Llandros.

If you go back and read my posts, you'll see that I was suspicious of Llandros because I really disliked his use of the word 'honestly' -- normally when people use those adjectives it's because they're lying/covering up about something. But, as the group seemed more interested in going after Solanis or Diamondais, I gave my thoughts about those two and voted for Solanis because I didn't have a strong enough feeling on anyone at the moment to try and drag out the day by trying to convince the group to not go after Solanis/Diamondais and instead consider a third option.
I'm going to wait to hear from more people before voting again because hopefully we'll gain more info than we had yesterday to make a more educated decision.

Casilu, are you the rockband Offspring?

That point is actually really worrying, Casilu. I always like to be careful of cults, but in any case, let's keep an eye out and see if it becomes two tomorrow.
On the other hand, no one's reported any connection with any of the statuses yet...and it's not like just saying "one of these statuses is connected to my role" would hurt the town if a townie were to say it, except in the situation where only important town power roles (doctor, police, roleblocker, etc.) are connected to them.
So I think it's quite likely they're random crap put there by Shamarah to annoy everyone. Can't dismiss the possibility they're not yet though.

Hmm. If Solanis is a vanilla mason, at least we know we're lynching someone who isn't town, so would be as good a choice for someone to lynch as any. Diamondais doesn't seem too suspicious, just dropping random hints like the 'heretic/infidel' thing. I would vote Solanis, but I think he has almost enough votes to lynch now and I don't want to ninjalynch.
Also, did Casilu just use a power again? Wonder what the song lyrics do.
(eeep, hope the MechaNazis don't turn out to be a cult, but it started at zero so maybe not)

Vote Count
"Our life is frittered away by detail. An honest man has hardly need to count more than his ten fingers, or in extreme cases he may add his ten toes, and lump the rest. Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity!" --Henry David Thoreau, Walden
Solanis - 4 (Shiri, Rika, Arix, Shaddus)
11 to lynch.

What? Masons are town. What are you talking about?
And the mechanazis would be the cultists in Casilu's scenario.
Oh yeah, that reminds me. Casilu, what did your thing do at night? Nothing unusual happened beyond what Daganev caused, right? Looks like an annoying bluff.

Sometimes mason-pairs could have one scum. It was supposed to have a chance to out someone's role, I think Kira isn't a reporter of some kind, she's just doing that, so I targeted her.

But vanilla mason is usually a town role, I'm not getting what you're trying to imply here. There is the potential of a scum mason, or a lovers deal with one scum and one townie, but the claim is in itself townie by nature. Explain what you mean?
I was wondering about Casilu's bolded phrase too. Was it another one of those 'might benefit some people but you won't see it' kind of power?

Uhhh...okay...and what was the result?
I'd better go check back and make sure the post even targetted anyone cause I don't remember that aspect...*peer*
(gotta go to sleep now though, night)

Had to send the target at night. I was also told I wouldn't be informed of the result so my assumption is that when Kira posts, she has to post her role. Tonight I can crush someone's self esteem! Yay!

Shamarah is just ing with me.

Wot. Llandros said that, not me.
I guess we shall wait for Kira to post!
According to my role, I know that my mason is be pro-town. That's not really much assurance is it, Shamarah could just be playing with me, huh.
