My guess would be that they have no meaning or some meaning for either a faction or an indivudual possibly related to powers or alternate win conditions.

We should take note of them and see if any correlations can be found keeping in mind that Sham may have them for flavor or randomly change them to screw with us.

Along that line, can anyone confirm that one or more of those things has an effect to the game? Don't say which or how you know - I'm not role fishing.

I didn't even notice Casilu using a power, I tried rereading it but I still seem to skim over it and I agree that there'd be no point in guessing the Mod in this game.

Ok, and clearly Myrkr has a posting restriction which requires the word "hope" in her posts. I figure she wanted someone to figure out that she was barack obama (or at least think that) so that people would not wonder why "hope" is always in her posts and bring attention to her later on.

I really hope that casilu's power is benign and doesn't end up randomly killing somebody.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and unvote, Vote Shiri I don't like the fact that he voted for Casilu because they were the first random voter, but only did so after others voted for her.

I see. Thank you for this interesting analysis. Now onto more exciting matters. Daganev has voiced his suspicions towards Shiri, the resident hampster. How this plays out shall be interesting to watch. In the beginning at least. Viewers are warned though that this may result in overly verbose speeches and logic-defying debating loop-holes.

Now over here it seems that Casilu has attracted quite the crowd. It would seem that everyone wants to know exactly what Casilu did, but being the enigma/lunatic that she is, this slowpoke has refused to share anything about vague allusions. What do they mean my viewers? That is something for she to know, and for you there home to figure out. One can question the wisdom of this act however. It seems to me that the people here are getting anxious and are considering lynching our Casilu. This may end in bloodshed, and we all know what this means. My ratings will shoot through the roof.

It is also now clear that Myrkr has become our symbol of Hope. The conservativists debate if she might be Barack Obama in disguise. The liberalists however are clear that Myrkr can be none but Shakiniel who has taken a break from Supernaling. I have my own suspicions for who she is and why she has done it, but I shall not be sharing them. If you want to find them out, then stay tuned and hope that I survive as I continue this expedition into the heart of the Absurd.

Ahh, sorry about the posting delay. I couldn't get on the computer until this evening, I'm not a lurker! And these roles are so random, Barack Obama? :S

Anyway, I'm not going to random vote as it doesn't seem productive. I agree with Shiri that in a game this large, there aren't going to be just the ordinary town and mafia factions, but from my role I'm fairly sure that a town faction exists.

Per what Casilu did, I don't regard it as suspicious as it doesn't seem to have had any effect (yet). If Casilu does something odd again, then it might be. From what she said, it sounds like she had no idea what the power would do until she used it.

Finally, the weird objects: I'm thinking they might have an effect on certain role abilities, but it's just pure speculation >.> Maybe some of it is flavor and some is relevant.

In post #3 Sham put the exact text for people who were with town to avoid any confusion. So either your role says you are town, or it references it as if you were not a member.
