But Pectus is so cute! How can she cause annoyance? ohmy.gif

I just found out that Shamans CAN use fist weapons in WoW. Why is this important? If a shaman uses a fist weapon and has Lava Lash and Jump keybound together, what do you get?

Why is this a bad thing? It means I have to level a troll shaman.

I hate leveling shamans.

Dude, i leveled an enhance shaman in 5 1/2 days playing time. It's quick, easy and efficient!

The overinflated sense of entitlement that some people have is absolutely baffling to me. I suppose that's what happens when they're raised as only children in a country where Santa Claus is all but deified. sleep.gif If I say, "We can't do this," it doesn't mean, "I can't, but the next person you call or e-mail can." It means "we," "we" being a collective, codified unit of people who follow the same policies, guidelines and procedures.

Yo, if it makes you feel any better, I'm English and spent the day stripping a carpet.

Canuck.

I didn't go to the Canada Day stuff because we never do, because my grandparents dogs are so afraid of loud noises...

because we couldn't leave them home just so I could see the fireworks. Meh.

Okay. Seriously. Someone has to be talking to this guy who sits here during days on a close to daily basis about workspace hygiene, because that's about how much I have to complain about him. This is really ridiculous that he can't just grab a clorox wipe, which is HIGHLY available in this row, and swipe down his desk before he leaves. IS IT THAT HARD?!

The guy who sits across from me during my shift said he's seen him, and he's... really greasy. Just looks like he'd be disgusting just to stand near. sleep.gif

Having to clean up animal messes that I am in no way responsible for, along with the removal of an animal carcass. Great way to start my afternoon, really!

Coming home from ten days overseas to find that the day before we left, someone did a fraudulent charge on the same credit card that we used for all our purchases overseas. When they closed the account, this meant I can no longer see the account activity -- so all I have is a bunch of receipts in a foreign currency, with no way to see what they came to after currency conversion or fees. They can't get me the account activity any other way than a fax to somewhere I'm not.

My dog Annie has been sick for a while. We took her into the vet exactly one week ago and she was diagnosed with failing kidneys and a terrible infection, ridiculously high white count. She had stopped eating. One week and three vet calls later, she still hasn't eaten, we can barely get her to drink, and only -now- have they bothered to take x-rays. Before this last visit, they were very optimistic - she's drinking, she's moving around, her white count is lowering on the antibiotics! She must be getting better! An x-ray would've found very much the opposite. Mass near her stomach, spleen ruined, and we don't know why. We could go the surgical route, but it would be two to three thousand dollars we don't have for a few more months, at best. Tomorrow, we're going to have her put down.

Six months ago, we had to put our senior citizen dog to sleep. Tomorrow, we're losing another friend. We'll miss you, Annie.

Having to put your pet to sleep is the hardest thing.

Though I did not know him well, a very prominent and compassionate member of the MO:UL community passed away. He will be missed by many.
