Remember to cure that before the instakill gets you. Those slivven are tricksy bastards.

Didn't know Slivvens are antibiotics! laugh.gif

As long as you don't have a Slivven Queen, a Gemhide Slivven, and an Intruder Alarm on your Aethercraft, you'll be fine.

Quick, drop one in a petri dish and see what happens. Now that you mention it, I never got an infection when they were around...

Or a wild pair and dormant slivven, then you'll be swimming in the bastards in one turn.

I try really hard not to make Lillie a "snuggly" person.

Is he cute? Yes, he is. I accept that. I made him with the intention of being cute, at least. But there's so much more to him than that, and it really bothers me when people just see him, squee, and glompglompglomp. Bad Serenwilde! Bad!

What's worse is when they act offended/surprised when Lillie says that it hurt (he's not exactly blessed with physical fortitude, and you just tackled him onto the ground - come on), asks them why they just tackled him, thinks they were being mean, and generally doesn't want them to do it anymore. If I could make him do it, he'd shy away the moment they looked at him and took the first step towards him.

This also applies to peck, pounce, gnaw, lick, and whatever other emote involving (even slightly) intimate physical contact you can think of. If you wouldn't do it to a 70-year-old man who reeked of urine, don't do it to Lillie! He's not a physical person except with people he really trusts.

And on that note! It really irks me when people are all 'Aren't you a boy?'
Yes, he is. But there should be no way to tell unless you either saw him naked, he told you, or he was happy to see you and wearing his swimming gown. If any of these is the case, you'll know. Trust me. I'll make it abundantly clear.

Thank you and good night. smile.gif

A boyfriend of one my closest friends forbid her to correspond to me in any way in Facebook. It's really annoying. Woe, paranoid boyfriends!

That's one emote that should be stricken from the emote list.... gaming_mad.gif

As for why you attract undue attention of this nature, I'd venture a guess that it might be well-meaning (but misguided) "tolerance overcorrection." There are people in the world who — upon discovering that a person (real or imaginary) might be (or is) gay, transsexual, androgynous, intersexed, etc. — wildly overreact in their scramble to "accept and tolerate" the person.

Personally, I think the best thing is to simply treat people like people, and leave it at that. I know that's the sort of treatment I prefer.

Likewise.

I have a friend who was a dude, and underwent hormone treatment. Still has a wingwangdoodle, but is by all means a chick. Great person, and not bad looking either.

Maybe this is a bad example, but my sister revealed to me that she was bisexual a few years ago, and... I subsequently forgot.

It slightly annoyed her when she realized I'd forgotten, and I admit it was rather harebrained of me, but it does go to show how little such things actually matter to me, in the grand scheme of things. The ongoing struggle for gay/lesbian/transsexual rights and acceptance does matter to me, but the actual state of being one of those things doesn't.

Not that I'm exactly a saint, mind you. I just feel that this is a healthy attitude and I'm thankful for it.

Not feeling well in general today and got kinda sad when I realized how many meds I take everyday and that if I skip a dose I basically fall apart. Not to mention that my purse is now filled with medications instead of lipstick or eyeliner, I know it's silly but it's the little things that are getting to me. And.. I miss being able to go outside and being able to go in the sun or lay on the beach. sad.gif

Looking to tan my legs... and getting a sunburn. But only on my left thigh.

Pro job, Kat.
Diamondais2010-07-22 04:02:18
Sun light sensitivity, god I hate you antibiotics. I was at the cottage, and besides a small thunderstorm it was beautiful and I wouldn't liked to have swam in the lake, but noooooo I have to have it far more likely to be burned. sad.gif

I had fun at the cottage, I really did, but I haven't been swimming in two years at least.

The AI Director is such a jerk sometimes, and I would not trust myself in a room alone with the AI Director. L4D isn't really that scary though!

The AI Director can go to hell sometimes. :\\ It's not L4D itself that's scary, its being alone (well dad's asleep of course) + me playing with bots = mind starts a trippin'.

Well its been awhile since I had a freak out session so I guess I'm due for one.

I'm a mag pretty much wherever I go. If I play a MMO, I spend my time trolling public channels and PvPing.

Well I do that already, but I meant on the RP servers. My character is pretty maggish.

I'm such a fail cook. Two omelettes done, neither of them actually edible. At least we've got plenty of eggs. :/
