; Whomever decided that Hard eight was a good idea as a mutation should die in a blazing inferno. L4D2 is already hard-ish on normal but with x2 of every special at a quickened respawn rate is INSANITY.

Standing on the deck, felt what seemed like a strong misquito bite, swatted down at the other misquitios...LOW AND BEHOLD! Bees! BEES EVERYWHERE! Leaped over the rails on the deck, ran around the house, and inside. My dad stood still, waited for them to calm down, leaped over the rail, and walked into the house without a sting. Daft buggers are still attacking the screwdriver we dropped, thirty minutes later.

Casilu, you're among the few posters of this forum that I would not think of saying this to but....screw you! Hard Eight is insanity! INSANITY. I have problems just playing a normal run of l4d2. I mean, I decided to play a run through of dead center after my few matches in hard eight and I restarted like 6 times, and that was before the finale! >: ( Hard Eight sucks.

Every few weeks I'm reminded about my little incident, and the reminders as of late have been particularly terrifying. Worst of all, I have no way of confirming whether or not I -should- be scared.

Paid a lot of money to go see a Rush concert, having not gotten to see them in over twenty years. I am fairly sure that they did a great show, but I couldn't see it, because everyone in the entire concert hall stands the instant the show starts and never sits down again, which doesn't actually help anyone any, but ensures if you don't happen to be taller than the people in the rows in front of you, you can't see the show. (It might work in venues with more slope to their seating, but this venue had very little slope, and rows ridiculously close together.) I also couldn't hear it, because their sound system was better than an old boom box in a tin wastebin, but only slightly. We actually left during the intermission. I am very, very disappointed. And I won't be going back to SPAC again.

I don't know if you're insinuating that I'm ugly or not, but really hard eight isn't that bad. I'm used to playing versus with really crap teams on my side and having to carry my team against an onslaught of thinking, co-ordinated people to even have a ghost of a chance in winning. I have had to be able to take on a tank one on three in their favour with nothing more than a Pistol since I ran out of bullets while seeing black and white. Hard Eight is nothing.

I'm insinuating that I might possibly like you/have a very good opinion of you. :< Come play with me? I can ok with a crappy teams, in scavenge atleast. I'm not really that good at versus personally. For me, for some reason, L4d2 was a quite a bit of a jump in difficulty. I guess after playing the first one so many times I got/am suck in the first one's play mentality and not very good at adapting to l4d2's play strategy.

You guys are making me want to play l4d2 again after a seven-month hiatus...

I was taking screw you in the more literal sense.


Anyway, I might have to take you up on that offer at some point.

Dooo ittt. ^.^ I personally prefer playing l4d with people I know/sort of know. Just be prepared for a high, rather squeaky voice if you play with me.

Eeuugh but then my 200-some odd person long friends list would EXPLODE with requests to play. I'm going to just cull the Steam friend population before I even think about touching a game again. I seriously haven't played tf2 or l4d2 since almost last year...I'll probably suck now, nooo...
