Finally wandered over to Earth Eternal's website after seeing that announce, and ouch. That's sad news! I could go on about the things I didn't like about the game, but in the end, it's still better than a lot of free-to-play MMOs that'll survive to see September.

Now I feel wretched about not playing for a while.

What major?

Equine studies. I also would like to do game design and development, but equine studies is the one I'd like to pursue the most.

Can be a lot of fun to move that far away from home, it's what I did and I haven't regretted it at all. happy.gif

The moment I start thinking about being all on my own and stuff, I start getting like panicky. If I was my younger self when I was a helluva lot more carefree and a lot less reclusive and clingy to home, I'd probably be all over going out on my own. But I'm clingy to home and a reclusive. >.<

I'm a rather reclusive myself, the space is nice, especially if you have people who live with you. smile.gif Besides, it's a good thing to learn and during university/college is the best time to try, because you -can- go home if things don't work out, it's less that way once you're out in the work force.

True. ~_~ I'm just not very good at being on my own. Of course I have to say that I am eternally grateful that my father is a patient man, who is quietly poking me to go out on my own but at the same time giving me the space to do it on my own.

People who create viruses can go die in a fire. sad.gif

EDIT: I just mean... why would you do it? For fun?

Another edit! Nevermind. Calm now.

If I could code one, yeah. It would redirect your webpage to the Thriller youtube page whenever you tried to go to a website.

Flower, Sun and Rain has to be the worst buy for my DS ever. It's the most boring game I have ever, ever had the "pleasure" of playing, with the most nonsensical, random and just plain ridiculous plot in the history of gaming. Nothing made sense, the game loved to contradict itself several times, and only one or two of the side characters aren't utterly unlikeable jerkasses.

And I say this even though it was the free game in a buy three, pay for two deal.

Viruses, yeah... a lot of people do it just to prove they can. It's just another kind of griefing for the lulz.

Malware is usually done for profit, or to add cpus/connections to a botnet for use in things like DDOS attacks.

You could do this to IE, Firefox, and Safari, although I think only Safari has the mechanisms to make it difficult to disable, and only on a Mac could you install it stealthily.

Cannot remember how to set a whole bunch of crucial settings on my laptop. dry.gif

Oh. And the stupid script that keeps freezing firefox that I am too lazy to try to fix.

New upgrade of Firefox, do not want. New install of windows, do not want. Old and consistent back plz.

Or someone remind me how to make the virtual memory file size bigger because it made it run so much smoother on the last install.

I'm not a good coder, though. I barely programmed my robot.

My grandmother repeatedly tried to convince me to drive through flooded roads because " addicted to ice cream." I ended up screaming at her until she shut up, and then felt horrible.

I am so, so glad she had her driver's license taken away from her, because otherwise I have no doubt she would have at least gotten stranded, if not actually drowned. You just don't drive through knee deep moving water, regardless of how much ice cream is on the other side. sad.gif

Assuming XP,

Control Panel -> System -> Advanced (tab) -> Settings (in the Performance panel - first panel on the page) -> Advanced (tab) -> Change (in the Virtual memory panel, at the bottom of the page )

I once got an old computer and let it get a few viruses, then cut it's internet to watch the viruses try and do stuff. They would ask me to please let them out to play, and pop up stuff about the internet not working. "Why is the internet not working?! sad.gif"

I laughed. And I think I felt the same as bad people who do similar things to animals. ninja.gif

But I would never hurt an animal (that wasn't a human (or a threat to me))!

wub.gif Thank you. I should have been able to figure that out myself but things have been hectic.

I was pulling stuff from it all through the night. Are you sure you weren't just directed to the wrong site? Oracle bought Sun, and Java by extension.

For the most part, knee deep water is plenty high enough to sweep a car off of a road.
Lendren2010-08-13 22:06:46
It takes far less than knee-deep. If it's moving briskly (which it usually is) ankle-deep stands a very good chance of sweeping a typical car aside.

Oh is that what it is? I went back to Chrome because Firefox keeps freezing up, had no idea why though. There are things I love about Chrome (namely the speed and ease of use) but I won't feel as safe using it until NoScript comes out for it. So uh how do you fix the Firefox problem?

On the subject of being alone... How to Be Alone

My rant? Experiencing the bad end of bank fraud for the first (and I hope to God the last) time. dry.gif
