Just as someone hits the tide lords, my net crashes. I can get on the forums now, but not Lusternia. Bleh.

Raids while my face and hands were feeling numb for some reason. And me messing myself up and missing a kill, because I tinkered with some code and didn't check it to make sure it was working.

Paid for my membership. City and guild got their credits. Card got charged. Still no credits/dingbats. Hnng. (got that from Shuyin, I think. Not sure what it means.)

And yes, I already issued and asked. Still waiting for my reply. Still dissatisfied.

I don't remember if the dingbats work this way, but are you aware that you have to use the command CREDITS MEMBERSHIP TRANSFER to get the credits? It took me a while to figure that out.

You don't know about that? It's the noise you make when you're frustrated and irritated and straining a little. Sort of like ugh, but beginning with H and more under your breath.

I'm actually not sure if this counts as a rave or dissatisfaction, but I'll put it in here due to the "scared the hell out of me" bit. A "general weirdness" thread would be the best place for this little incident.

A friggin' raccoon charged head on into the sliding glass door! My cat was looking out the door, so I guess it just got all like " CATS" and didn't understand the mystical secret world of panes of glass.

That's a very dangerous thing to say, sir. 'just saying'

So I found out earlier this morning when I woke up that my grandmother had succumbed to her cancer while sleeping.

This, in and of itself, is disquieting but not overly depressing. I haven't seen her in more years than I care to count - all of my memories of her are good ones: coming over to her house for a 'second Christmas' with my now-divorced father's side of the family, sleeping with her short yappy dog curled up on my back, being accosted by her goats, exploring the woods by her house.

So in the end it turned out to be in my advantage that I didn't get to see her more; I missed out on her divorce and other potentially sad events. Because of this (and despite the fact the family emergency fucked up my morning schedule) I don't feel completely in despair over her death. But there's one thing I really am not looking forward to. Dreading, more like:

Her funeral. I really, really hate funerals. They're probably the most sincerely uncomfortable and distressing gatherings I've ever had the misfortune to attend. I don't like ceremony, I don't like group mourning, I most certainly don't like being around others and empathetically sucking up all of their high-wattage emotions, being it agony/despair/sadness/negativeemotionhere. Yet, being related to the deceased by way of (X) means that I can not, in any way, refuse and still save face.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Rant: Realising i'm in an RP dry-spell with Seraku. I kind of backed myself into a corner with his RP, however I feel as though i'm ignoring paradigmatics and the fact that he's a badass illuminati, yet I cant think of anything interesting to do with him that'll make him stand out of the crowd and be unique.

I really need to stop doing this thing where I assume everything is fine with a friend until they randomly explode at me about being bad at keeping up with them.

...Which I don't deny. But if someone thinks I'm going to let a five year friendship die just because I'm not calling or IMing often, I would appreciate it if they'd tell me sooner. Especially when they're a really fantastic person.
