kids who aren't allowed to trick or treat in the dark.
When I see parents driving their children around the neighborhood trick or treating in broad daylight, a part of me dies.

I spent the better part of my morning cleaning my room because I found bugs in it again, my housemates laughed because I had essentially tossed tons of things in my room outside into the hall. I went once more to the accommodation office so they can send someone to check on it, again.
about half hour earlier, my one flatmate saw my facebook status about it, and came to ask me to look at something in my room. She has the same bugs. The two other flatmates came out, saw it, we all devolved into girly screaming fits, it tried to run away, we threw shoes at it and killed it.
My flatmates are all cleaning their rooms right now, the same way I had, basically tossing things out of the way in order to see if they can find it and vacuum just in case.
So this is a BOO OMG BUGS AHHHHH!!!!!! and other reactions as such.
And, I feel somewhat happy knowing that these bugs are not my imagination, they are there and it's not just me.
But oh my god bugs!

I was starting to wonder whether some parents were driving their kids around last night, because there seemed to be a LOT more cars than usual on my street and we had one massive wave of kids come through around 6:30, then some stragglers later on. I think everyone called a halt to Halloween early because it was windy and getting kind of cold.
There's enough candy left over at my house that it looks like I was the one asking for sweets. D:

To continue this story, not only is this not the first time I've reported it, other tenants in the past have, and the housekeeping has seen them in here before.
How wonderful.

Bad: Losing your cell phone afterwards.

If profanity offends you, please don't mouse over the below spoilers concerning my recent dentist's appointment.
fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckshitfuckfuckfuck dentist appointment it all goes nice and smoothly until I'm in so much pain while they're trying to clean the tartar out from my inflamed gums that we have to stop and I'm rescheduled for the 4th to be numbed and then get it all over with again, preferably not with me bleeding everywhere.
Also, my wisdom teeth? Upper and lower? Yeah. Looked at the xrays. They're like fucking perpendicular to the rest of my teeth. They said "All things considered, your teeth are great for not having an appointment in six/seven years, but those wisdom teeth have to go." Yeah. :censor:. :censor:. I don't do needles or surgery iakdfjklasjdfioasjdfklajfdlkasdf and I'm going to have to anyways.
Seriously? This is because I'm small. God damn. My shoe size is 8 and a half (US), I'm about 5'5. My hands are similarly small. The reason my wisdom teeth are these way? There's no way in hell they can fit in my mouth. ARGH. I have a month until the pulling appointments in December but my numbing is on the fourth and I seriously just have this most irrational fear of needles and even the dentist is stressful and fuckkkkkkkk.

Is nitrogen gas not an option? Usually people who get stressed out by needles and such can find a dentist that uses gas.
Lilia2010-11-02 00:39:02
The first time I had to be numbed at the dentist, he told me it was going to be a little pinch. I believed that for -years- until I accidentally saw the syringe. If your fear of needles is anything like mine, just tell yourself he's just pinching you and it will be fine. Also, tell them your afraid of needles and that you may need a minute to get composed. I know it's not really a consolation, but hardly anyone has room for their wisdom teeth and I actually had to have a 'real' tooth removed in order to have room for braces.

I had the same, I needed braces from a young age (grades 5-7), and while I did lose many of my baby teeth rather quickly, they still had to have a surgery in order to remove "extra" teeth (small jaw, same as you Furien) and the remaining attached baby teeth. I apparently panicked so much that they had to substitute the needles for gas. Much more enjoyable process to be put to sleep through gas than numbed with needles.
You may be able to request the same, but more likely than not, you will have to endure the needles. If that is the case, pray you haven't built up a resistance to the numbing, and that the amount of needles is at a minimum. More numbing stuff is not a nice thing.

I hate needles, with a passion. I had to, relatively recently, get both wisdom teeth on my right side removed (I'll likely have to do the same to the other side)
I refused to get it done with out being heavily gassed. And numbed (by the heavy duty stuff, the stuff with adrenaline in it, so the doctor says...)
By the time I was laughing at the tv on the ceiling (no, it was real) I couldn't care less about the needles. That stuff is great. Really.

Why am I playing CoD:MW2 again? Why?!! -.- this game always makes me rage. Ugh, the strange feeling that I was sort of doing well lured me into a false sense of desire to play when I saw my KD spread be either be slightly positive, 0 or just a few point negative.

A day I actually feel crappy and not going to class...Everyone has a minor freak out and starts preparing for the apocalypse...It was just a bad eggroll, people! Calm down!
Unknown2010-11-02 11:53:02
My ears/throat ache from the walk to school in the cold, and I've found out I'm getting very low marks in three classes. And incredibly high marks in my other two. This is a terrific morning, can I go home now? :/
Edit: also, the piece of java I was coding and took me forever to figure out and I now don't know how to do just error'd out and I lost it. I may cry.
