We had an ice storm last night, and I get up this morning and wait around the house for someone else from work to send out a notification that they will be working from home today, so I don't feel weird about it. No one does so I drive in.

About 5 minutes after being here, everyone else sends out emails that they will be working from home.

I woke up to snow and a power outage. . Power finally came back about 30 minutes ago, but I'm freezing!

My car is a piece of crap. If it's driven too much (too much being 30 minutes in one day), it will conk out on me at every stop. It would be
fine if I could take it to a mechanic to get fixed, but it's been there at least 2-3 times in the last year and we've spent a few thousand at
the mechanic on it in the past two years. I want a new (used) car.

At this point you're better off at saving the cash for a new (for you) car that will last longer than your current.

I havne't logged into Lusternia in a week because a static-electric discharge through my mouse fried my motherboard >< . Managed to save all of my data and slave my old HD to a crappy Dell tower. It restarts sometimes, programs are always crashing, and I think I have a hidden driver conflict in there somewhere that I can't find. Just in time to finish the last 7 things I need to do by 5:00 pm tomorrow for classes. And I'm missing what sounds like a neat event from it. Sigh.

I need a new compy .

Been working a bunch extra this week because work decided that its going to rely on me for a big project that has to be done ASAP. I was given a few days of another person's time to get assistance, but he screwed up the first thing I asked him to do. So I told him how to fix it, but something else came up that I needed him to do that was a higher priority. And he did the same thing on that part too. I spent the part of my day that wasn't wasted doing tech support and in meetings re-coding stuff that should have been done and taken me maybe a half hour to integrate.

This kind of sounds like my last five months. Isn't it grand?

My electronics are falling like dominoes now. First, my cable modem stopped talking to my router, so I had to buy a new one. Then, the power supply on my plasma TV blew, and they can't repair it until the middle of next week (warranty covers it 100%). THEN, my laptop crashed so hard I had to restore the whole drive from a backup copy. I'm thinking I need to park further away from my house, given all the electronics that are in my vehicle, lest it be next in line.

The puzzle in the cay (the one on the wall) reducing me to tears and trying not to freak out over it.

Ahh, anxiety. You are the reason why I don't do quests that require puzzles in a limited time period. Then someone finally figures it out, and the entire quest has already reset.

My general dissatisfaction (I've been having a lot recently o.0): Had to move back in with my parents for the christmas holidays (uni accomodation kicks me out) and I don't get on with my mother. Added to this getting a proper internet connection in this house is waaaay harder than I remember...

Choking on a marshmallow while drinking hot cocoa = I feel like I'm going to throw up.

Alarm clock fail made me let people down

Parents moved everything up into the upstairs apartment, except for my room, and now I can't get internet in there, so only able to get online with their computer until I can go get a wireless card or something for my desktop. xP

Just spent about an hour reinstalling Windows and all of the drivers in an attempt to finally fix my wireless card. (which has not worked no matter how many times I update drivers and rollback drivers and uninstall/reinstall drivers) It does not work at all.

I'm so frustrated I'm crying. I wasted so much time doing something that fixed NOTHING.

Are you sure the issue is your wireless card?

I disabled my wireless a while ago so it wouldn't auto connect to my configured connections (I wanted to use cable) and now it doesn't work at all.

Edit: I'll be back in a couple more hours. Did not install cleanly.

Finally back after school. Log in to everything decayed, well I expected that. However, there is a plague, and I was told to stay in my guildhall. So I get to chill in my guild hall, in my unmentionables, while -something- is going down outside.

Le sad day.

My mouse is being an asshole. I don't know why. I might solve this issue by splurging on a new mouse and mousepad. (I'd love the Companion Cube mousepad, but screw paying more for shipping than the item costs.)
