Ok ow, note to self, when you've bit off the very tip of your tongue recently, do not put white rice vinegar on your rice.
EDIT: It is a pretty good way of finding out where hurty things are in your mouth though. Like oh hey, I think that last wisdom tooth is starting to poke through AHHH THE BURNING THE BURNING.

Also, school on Tuesday, and I am so not ready. X.x

I know this feeling well. Just not from vinegar though; when you accidentally spill acetone nail polish remover on your crotch, it is rather unpleasant.

I resolved from that point forward to wait until I got home and not try it in the car, even as a passenger.

and here I thought that in the USA the burden of evidence was on the prosecution not the accused.
university judicial systems are paid for and supported by the university...the bias is built in. It is, in essence, a private judge/jury who recieves their salary from the prosecution.

Rant 1) Finally worked up the nerve to ask this cute girl at subway out to dinner or a movie, only to find out she wasn't working that night.
Rant 2) Finally killed Tigrex and a couple other big monsters in monster hunter today, then my save file became corrupted and I lost ALL of my data. F.M.L.
Edited Rant 3) Turns out ALL my data on my psp is gone completely.

From the syllabus of my Information Security course: "Given the amount of material that we cover in the semester, the course is intensive and highly paced. Students should be prepared to read 50 or more pages of text per week in addition to time spent completing homework assignments, exams, and programming projects. This course includes programming using C and x86 assembly."
I wouldn't care so much if it hadn't been years since I've looked at C or assembly, and the fact that that is one of six classes. I might be scarce for a while.

Keep in touch.
On a related note, though one of my classes was highly on economics, the projects this term are less research more.. maths and calculating GDP and studying other dynamics related to countries.
Scary, scary maths.

If it makes you feel any better, one of my more recent classes required an average of upwards of 150-200 pages per week on top of papers and exams.

I am informed by a reasonable source that the black hole of Achaea just got more black hole-ish.
This, while not directly pertaining to me, is disappointing.

Hm. I use to like Achaea because I could fish from the back of a balloon giraffe. Oh well.

Seriously seriously hoping another Chemistry class time opens up. 8am is when I sleep, not when I wake up and face the world. Does no one sciencey operate on a night-based schedule?! English classes never bother me in the morning!
Diamondais2011-01-10 09:24:20
I've given up on sleeping, my alarm wont go off for another half hour and I've already been fully awake for 40 minutes.
At four am, the fire alarm went on, and then immediately turned off. Wake up number one. Stomach isn't feeling too pleasant and my nerves are shot, turn movie on and drift off.
Seven am, boyfriend texts me which is normal but he's in a bit of a panic because he lost his keys for work, and isn't sure where he left them. He's an English teacher, this is a new job. Don't really go back to sleep, just lie there.
Now about twenty minutes ago, my friend messages me to say that she's finished her meeting with the university she's on exchange with in France, we're told on these exchanges there are guaranteed classes in English for those who aren't as strong in the language as they would like to be, considering the reason we're here is to learn and expand our cultural interactions, the university in France does not offer this. They have been telling our university back home that they do not offer classes in English, they still continued to tell my friend that everything was fine, and yes, she would be able to attend the classes while she works on her French.
She's also been dealing with the same problems of miscommunication, or no communication, between Algoma and the exchange partner that I had to deal with in the first month and a half that were very stressful.
In general, boo. I'm really sad for her, she was really looking forward to this, but now she's here and has to go back home because nobody was talking straight to her.

Spent the first half of the day at work outside. I am now frozen in places and parts I was not aware I had.
Unknown2011-01-10 17:51:40
At least once a day it sounds like someone falls down the stairs outside of our apartment. But seriously, it's so damned annoying. :|
