Oh, that's different. When my dad did it, I'm fairly sure it was intentional. He might not have intended me to rack up $100 in overdraft fees on top of the bad check fee, but I'm sure if he knew, he'd've been pleased.

Computer continues to die, my mood has been very flippy-floppy as of late, having a hard time finding a job, and I haven't been feeling very motivated as of late. Tons of ideas running through my head, just haven't felt up to doing anything.

Because of an INSANE mad dash to finish papers before break, I haven't logged onto Lusternia all week sad.gif . Damn it procrastination and papers...

How out of shape do you have to be, to get winded from vacuuming the house? Oh, that's right, only-two-classes-no-job-addicted-to-the-internet out of shape.

Oh gee, you think Norton would warn you that you have automatic subscription instead of just charging your credit card. Thanks Norton, I actually wanted to drop you since I can't damn well use you on my school network, but no. There goes nearly flipping $80.

Guess I'm stuck with you awhile longer! However, I definitely will not be renewing this in the future. Kthxbai.

Edit: Looks like I did get an email, the week I was sick in bed and delirious. Sigh. No wonder I don't remember it coming up, still, I don't understand why it's automatic instead of manual.

A lot of recurring bills are, and while they claim it's for convenience, I'm pretty sure it's because this way they can screw you out of one more month than you cared to pay for.

So it looks like the whole check bouncing thing might be the banks fault. My mom says that lately its been happening where money will disappear and then reappear a few days later. Possibly because she's with the military branch of our bank and I'm with its civilian counterpart. It seems likely, since we've had problems with the branches not really communicating with each other in the past. Well, s'all good. Talked with my mom, and whatnot. So I'll be getting some money, and won't need to worry...atleast for a little while.

My car stopped working 65 miles from home. I might be stranded for awhile.

Hit it with a stick a few times.

You kidding? That was the first thing I thought of! But no matter how intensely I beat it, it wouldn't start up again. The same applied for the kicking, cursing and threats to its general well-being.

My cat threw up in the car on the way down to Austin.

Light it on fire. External Combustion works for trains, right?

I haven't had to do a hand written annotated map in a long time, the one I did earlier in the year was computer generated. Man, my wrist aches and still more to do!

At least it's one of the more fun projects I've had to do, though it is economic statistics...

The moon is closer to the earth than it has been in 18 years, and it doesn't look noticeably larger. Hmph.

The moon only ever looks bigger because of asmospheric distortion.
Lawliet2011-03-20 01:51:55
It also tends to look bigger when it's close to the horizon, as you have other things to compare it to.

Science tells me that today the moon appears 14% larger than it does when its furthest away. So, technically it does look bigger, its just really hard to tell tongue.gif

I went out at moonrise time and tried to find the moon (in hopes of seeing it at the horizon), but sadly the area is too crowded with trees and buildings and I couldn't see it.

It would probably be more notable if you were to compare it now to when it appears its smallest. As is, though, the rate at which it changes size means we lack anything to compare it to for reference.
