You are still a wonderful person that should be happy-angry instead of sad-angry.

I agree!

I want to move. I've lived in this state going on six years now (the record so far is six in one state). Unfortunately, I'll have to wait at least a year and a half so I've paid off this old debt and saved up enough money to move comfortably (allowing for at least two month's rent + deposit on a decently priced place + utilities and food/gas in case it takes a bit to find a job).

The problem is, once I've decided I want to do something like that, waiting is torture. laugh.gif For the past few days, since it occurred to me that I wanted to do it, the 'I want to move away!' feeling has just been popping up randomly, nagging and nagging at me. It's really annoying.

Course, it does give me plenty of time to figure out where I want to move to. I have no idea where I want to go yet, other than somewhere I've never lived before. suspicious.gif

In my part, there is rain, nature, and fungi. Lots and lots of fungi.

To the north of me are weirdos.

To the south of me are Californians.

However, the weather is usually pretty nice and various other neat things. Like bacon donuts to the north.

Oregon is boring.

My rant:
I can't install the M&M system pullhair.gif And tried installing the latest Mudlet, but now it won't even run. Boo.

Move to North Carolina! We're utterly unremarkable outside of our high nerd concentration.

That would take a lot more money than I could save in a year! Besides, don't you have to have a reason for going to a country? Work or school or vacation or something? Would they buy, "I want to live here for an undetermined amount of time. Why? Cause I've never been here before." as a reason to be in the country?

Why would you want to punish Noola with something like that?

Come to Utah! We're not broke!

On to my rant. Today was a long censor.gif ing day. Ran around town trying to get the truck licensed to haul some stuff. Stopped in and had a general bs'ing session with one of our county commissioners(i have too many politician friends). That was about the best part of the day. After that I spent an HOUR AND A HALF at the hardware store(normally I love being in the hardware store), waiting for my old man to choose the correct fitting for his hose to pipe settup he's making for his garden. I was almost late for work. We got a brand new refridgerator a few months ago(won a top of the line fridge in a drawing), but because the truck wasn't licensed, we left the old one sitting next to it instead of hauling it off. Well, today since we got the truck registered, we decided to haul the old one off. We brought in our old dolly(hand truck) from the garage, and the tires are flat. Completely off the bead. Still haven't gotten them back up, even with our air compressor. I was late for work..........and the guy i work with arrived 2 hours after me(he was supposed to be there an hour before me). At about 8:00 pm, the power went out, and so our gas pumps went down(i work at a gas station, fyi). We had angry customers for an hour because they couldn't buy gas at all and had to use cash to buy beer and snacks. When the power finally DID come back on at 9, it arrived at the same time as 2 bus loads of asians who didn't speak a LICK of english, so i had THAT to deal with as well as restoring the computer systems, just as the guy working with me got off for the night. I ended up getting out of there an hour too late. THis also made me relapse HARD on my soda diet. I drank me a 32 oz Mountain Dew to get calmed down again........... Life sucks some times.

I just want to clarify my last post. I may have sounded negative towards asians. Don't get me wrong. I love asians(I just spent 2 years in the Philippines), it was the circumstances and not the people who made my blood pressure rise. Wasn't their fault that the timing sucked and they caught me in a bad mood.

You foul fiend. Mountain Dew is the nectar of the gods! I've managed to make the trip from LIttle Rock, AR to Utah in 24 hours on mountain dew. smile.gif
...........But, I am trying to give it up as well as all soda in order to lose weight and stay healthy. My little ulcer scare has me shooken up about it.
