Oh man. I was about to whine about my life some more, but you guys totally cheered me up.

*mutterings about the expense of apartments*

Do you live in an expensive area? If not, it's about looking really hard. Most of the options here were out of my range, but I finally found an apartment for $175 per month, and it was one of the nicest ones i'd checked. It's in the basement of a newly remodeled home. It's pretty nice. The landlord is pretty cool too. He's even given me permission to keep firearms. It's also conveniently located near Taco Bell, Little Ceasar's and the college.

That's less than my car payment, and I thought that was a steal.

I still can't bring myself to rent-to-live, though. Have to stay here and save for a place-to-own.

Great. It gets better. Once I manage to boot, now half of all hard drive accesses fail with "bus error".

O_O WHERE DO YOU LIVE?! The price here for a bachelor (and I mean, the nastiest, dirtiest bachelor to the nicest, half-ways decent almost having a real kitchen bachelor) is like... $400-800 without utilities, sometimes with. I'm not willing to go over $750. But yeah, my plan is to live with the parents until after university is started and try to snatch up a halfways decent place when people are just looking to rent the apartments out before Winter, since right now I'm getting declined based on the fact that I am not a student, which I'm pretty sure violates my rights as a renter in the fact that they technically aren't allowed to discriminate. And hello, I work from 8-4, I get up at 6am and get home around 5pm, it's not like I want to be a loud partier by the time I've gotten home. Harumph. Yes, I am highly dissatisfied.

Utah. So, I don't think the cheap place to live is worth it, personally.

I'm seriously considering getting back over here again since I heard the Nighshades are up and running again, with Astraea's awesomeness! But I need to figure out how to get back into Glom and suck up to the family since Nienla hates Nich... Since I pretty much screwed him over with the nonsensical org-jumping.

Oh, and apparently Treant's down, so I gotta figure out how to program the basics and possibly find some kind of working system on out there... /wrist
