Being ill with mononucleosis infectuosa/glandular fever/kissing disease for the third week. The biggest pre-graduation exams I will most likely ever take would be on Wednesday and Friday. I have already paid the examination fees, which are not very small for a poor student such as myself. Life is just great sometimes, this stupid disease had the perfect timing.

Uh... have you SEEN Saaga irl?
She's like this blonde ice maiden bombshell

Mono is no joke and very difficult (near impossible) to function under. I wish you the best of luck.

Don't worry. It's going to be GREAT.... soon... in a little while... later.

Man, don't look at it like that. They were probably either trying to put a brave face on things, or else spare your feelings. Don't assume people are setting you up for disappointment, you'll get low self esteem or something.
A bit late, but thanks a lot! (Haven't visited this thread in weeks)
On a dull note:
Some people die TOO YOUNG. 32's too young an age to die, height of your life, career, and stuff...

Being forced to pump up a two foot-ish deep inflatable pool by hand, then having to haul buckets of water one by one, pouring it into the pool you inflated... All during this time of year where we have a heat wave...
Then your five cousins drop by and jump in without taking a bath and you have to change the water the following day... manually with the buckets and crap.
I also drowned in it... Almost, at least...

Bringing home a brand new baby kitten, which should be wonderful, then finding out your two other cats think you're the devil incarnate for doing it. ~_~
At least now Boots is being social with me and merely putting the kitten in her place (though she's still growling and hissing whenever she sees her). India though is hiding in a corner and has already attacked me for coming too close. >< I've never met a cat that hates change more than her.
I've also got a little "home" set up in a cat carrier for the kitten; unfortunately, whenever I put her in there, she cries at the top of her lungs until either A. Boots shuts her up, or B. I take her out. >
Also had to stay home sick for a second day from work, and this is all just a few days before I head back to West Virginia for a week to visit my parents. *sigh* I already feel terrible for staying home, even though I know I wasn't fit to work last night.
EDIT: At least there's a little good news now, I finally got her to eat. Turns out she'd rather have the less expensive food, too! XD

I don't suppose any of you have a copy of the I have no mouth and I must scream PDF? When I tried to send it to my brother this afternoon, I found that the file was corrupted, and the download site seems to be down

That's exactly how I acted when my parents brought home my new baby sister. I was only 1 1/2 years old too .

Pouting in a corner and screaming whenever anyone got close? XD
Slight update, India has emerged from her corner in my bedroom and has actually gone into the living room/kitchen area. She still hates my guts, but it's a start. ^^

Pretty much. Every time my parents would ask me a question I would cross my arms, turn my back to them, and pout. I apparently kept this up for weeks.

You're doing it wrong. If you really want them to feel silly, you use this.

Though I love my cards, it's quite so hard and horrible to maintain them, cleaning them once every two to four days, which lasts about an hour or more... Seventy eight cards in all...
And also hard to keep people you're allowing to touch them during a reading to be EXTRA CAREFUL AND NOT DROP THE DAMN CARDS. ... and making sure their hands are clean. And so is looking for a clean surface to place them on... They have a silk finish, they're delicate and catch dirt easily, peoples!
Sharman-Caselli, however.

Have you perhaps considered transparent card covers when they are in-use?

Because you have to pay for all the real dog you aren't getting.
