I was getting into bed when my phone went off with a text message from my best friend ever saying "omg there's an armed suicidal guy on my campus"
Luckily, about 30 minutes later he sent another saying the threat was over. But still.... For those 30 minutes, I was terrified.

Have you perhaps considered transparent card covers when they are in-use?
Nah, I like... feeling the cards literally. Plastic would ruin the mood. :/ It's just the iffiest thing ever... I dunno. It just wouldn't feel right for me.

Took a very bad spill on my bike, and I'm currently bloody, bruised, and bandaged. Broke my Aviator sunglasses in the fall and the bits cut up my cheek; also gouged up an elbow and some knuckles, and by far the worst is my knee. Looks like there's no permanent harm to me or the bike (though those sunglasses are toast), but I'm going to be in a lot of pain for a few weeks.

Finding out that the reason the three times I've tried to buy credits/lessons failed today is because the money I put on my Walmart Visa card hasn't hit the card yet. Argh.

I have a few lethal impliments you can borrow! Would you prefer the composite bow, or the javelin?

How about something easier to use? I have a gun and an axe and a combat knife.

The customer is always right, smile and nod, then go speak to someone higher than said manager about it.
edit: Before someone says no, the customer is not always right. Just remember, this is not serious at all, customers are evil.

Though I love my cards, it's quite so hard and horrible to maintain them, cleaning them once every two to four days, which lasts about an hour or more... Seventy eight cards in all...
And also hard to keep people you're allowing to touch them during a reading to be EXTRA CAREFUL AND NOT DROP THE DAMN CARDS. ... and making sure their hands are clean. And so is looking for a clean surface to place them on... They have a silk finish, they're delicate and catch dirt easily, peoples!
Sharman-Caselli, however.

Of slight relation: The cards I use are big. Really big. I have small hands. Really small hands. My hands are too small to shuffle my own deck of cards.

It's a 5 foot long iron javelin with an improvised blade. You either smack them in the head with it, or you skewer them. There's not much about it that's hard to use, 's long as you can heft it. Really, it's easier to use then any of those three. No marksmanship or other training required. Just thunk'em in the head.

After nearly three weeks in the hospital after a massive heart attack, my mother got out yesterday. She is already wilfully disregarding everything the doctor recommended. This is hard
