My neighbour's son beat up her boyfriend person thing with a stool, breaking his jaw. I happened to see the person beat up kick someone out of the house before said beating. So, I apparently saw enough to give a statement. The last time before this was a chick trying to beat the crap out of her ex who was trying to get his kid out of her house that was full of crackheads and drunks. She smashed a truck window with her fist. Yay me.

I didn't believe it even though I saw it with my own eyes.

I was taking a nap and having a really cool dream. I don't even remember now except I was on vacation in this really posh hotel and I rode in a helicopter and saw that the empire state building was really a bridge and it was filled with trees. Then, some unknown caller called my cell and woke me up and didn't even bother leaving a message.

It was me, I am sorry D:

I got up for work this afternoon, went through the hassle of showering and dressing and headed across the street, only to find out that the building is only open half a day on Saturdays during the first summer term and that I didnt' have to work because it was closed. Sad thing is, I make the schedule for who works when.

Apparently my phone has been without a signal since thursday night, and I missed about thirty texts that all flooded in today.

I hate it when you're getting to the stage in a relationship where you're beginning to think you're falling in love with somebody, and then he makes it totally clear that he's not. We've been dating for the past year, and living together for the past six months, and now he's breaking up with me because I have to move, and it'll become "no longer convenient" to be with me because he wouldn't live so close to his job anymore.

What a jerk!

1. If someone uses the word "convenience" in the reason they have to break up, there's either more to the story that he's not sharing, or as Dr. Noola said, he's a colossal jerk. Unless the reason is, "I'm breaking up with you because you killed that clerk in the convenience store."

2. I think of that more as a reason to stop seeing the person you've been dating sporadically for a month, not the person you've dated for twelve and lived with for six. That's getting a ways into the "how can we make this work" zone.

3. Are you busy Friday? Too soon?

4. I know it sucks and you don't even want to think about this right now, but in the long run, I guess it's better to have found out what you're dealing with now than after the relationship took an even more serious turn.

5. I'm sorry after reading that. That must hurt like nobody's business, and after what you invested there, you deserved better.

My general dissatisfaction: My sleep schedule's been screwier than usual, starting with Saturday because I napped after work before my guild election ended, woke up, stayed up for a few hours, then napped a few hours before work. Did the same thing today by accident because I was absolutely wiped when I got home, then woke up at noon for no apparent reason and didn't get back to sleep until 5:30. ><

While napping before work though, I experienced sleep paralysis for the first time! Joy. If you haven't heard of it, sleep paralysis is a point in your sleep cycle where you're normally dreaming heavily, and so your system literally paralyzes you so that you don't go running out of bed and into a wall or whatever. However, every now and then, you'll end up waking up - at least partially - during these times. Well, this happened to me. Right after another dream. I was lying in bed and looked out of the door to my bedroom, and I swear I heard the sound of someone unlocking my front door and entering my apartment. I was absolutely terrified. I could hear myself screaming for help, and a moment later, I jolted and woke up fully, realized I hadn't actually screamed, realized it was just a dream, and just lied there shaking and sweating and panting. Scariest experience ever (so far).

Agh, sleep paralysis is no fun. My ex suffered from constant sleep paralysis, and at least twice a week he'd have to deal with it. Hope you don't have to experience it again!

It's the summer. My grades from last year were excellent. I should be happy.

Instead, I'm lonely, uncertain as to my future, and things which I thought I had put to bed keep haunting me when I'm supposed to be sleeping at night.
