A Thread For Gentle Mourning

Toodle-pip, I do declare that I am most distraught with the end of a new era and the beginning of the next... it does seem our place of copious felines with comely visages and cunning sayings has been relocated into an early grave! Alack! However, it does seem a more decorous age has occurred wherein we shall sip tea and gravely ponder these mysteries which perplex and vex the fine players of Lusternia... perhaps over crumpets, wherein we shall entreat our fellows to weep perhaps more copiously.

Who shall accompany me on this endeavor? We will most certainly require more decorous felines of excellent deportment to, shall we say, convince the ball to commence mobilization.

Wot wot?

I was going to say "This is just stupid"

But then I thought, "Nah, I'll make a post about how I should have said I thought it was stupid but say it anyways in my post"

I did find myself beset by one of Magnagora's most fearsome warriors and, to my distress, I forgot that I do not regularly keep my pipes lit in my reflexes.

Naturally, when my windpipe was dealt a lethal blow, I soon found my brains splattered across the floor.

I feel traumatized. sad.gif

Most disastrous. Perhaps some Earl Gray to soothe your nerves?

You are a paragon of decency amongst those that I normally consider brutish rabble, Sthai. I applaud you and accept your offer most gratefully.

I do say, ol' chap, that I find your portrait a little plebeian. It reminds me of this vulgar dress that the serving women used to parade my poor, dignified show dog around in for the distraction of the groundskeepers. Indeed, it is still all the rage in more common circles to put captions on your cat portraits. They find that it works better to communicate an idea that way.

Alas, I am too poor to afford letters upon my photographs, and thus, my cat is shamed before the masses. What is this age coming to?

Fear not M'lady, Mister Mewlsefaun seems to bear his person with a quiet dignity that the common cat lacks. I daresay that in retaining the purity of your fine photograph, you have evaded the nature of the fad.

Am I perusing this mode of electronic discourse in a correct and proper manner?

While you may spend time performing questionable activities in the local forum brothels, I applaud thee, gentle woman.

Alas, I know not the sin of Selfishness, for I find myself disrobed after battles with those of great psychic prowess, and only through Lady Luck and the generosity of others have I been able to gather my possessions. I would study this spell, but I find myself without the proper tuition, and therefore have only begun to know hunger.

Indubitably.

Verily, I find myself greatly amused by this thread.

Alas, it grieves me that earlier I found myself forcibly ejected from our good Lusternia, and when I returned I found that my dearly beloved defences had entirely vanished.

Let us weep!

I had agreed a gentlemen's spar with another, but regrettably, I neglected to procure the proper curatives and ended up bested in the contest of might.
