Beast reagents, they're way to slow. two hours of activity should let you reagent-itize.
Ayisdra2009-06-15 04:20:54
What do you mean two hours of activity? You can apply reagents as often as you like as long as the diet matches the applied reagent.
Related item of my own: Power drawing, This is too long (esp when an org as double dross from domoth), if there was a way to just LINK NEXUS DROSS| and it would instantly draw that much with little wait (balance time) would be nice. If needed you could even raise the balance time to about 6-10secs (or whatever you feel would be good)

One reagent per two midnights has been typical for me. Which is roughly the two hours of activity you asked for. What are you seeing?
Also, you can BEAST DISMISS FEED when you leave and be able to apply two reagents when you come back after 4 hours.

I'm a bit lost...I have applied about 10 reagents in a few moments of each other. I have never been limited to the never of reagents I can apply according to the diet of a beast.

Other people have posted elsewhere about the limits on how fast you can apply reagants. So maybe you're just special! What kind of beast do you have? Is it a pet?
Ayisdra2009-06-15 05:04:53
The Druidry (crow) Totem beast. This could be why.
Unknown2009-06-15 05:43:48
No, I have a crow too. It's one reagent per two feed, though I don't keep track of hours. It might be one or two, but I've been having bad luck with beastmastery and my broken crow, so... I'm having a chore of a time applying reagents in general.

This is why. I had my beast feed from its bag when it was in the stables thus it got more feed. and I really didn't apply that many reagents during youth.
Most of the reagents I gave it where after it had matured, probably had about....50 or so feeds in it. As When I was trying to start getting its trains in for influencing I was apply to apply ten (as I said before) reagents within moments of each other, with it having the 50 feeds in it, and as Ried says a 1 per two feed ratio this could by why I was able to add reagents so fast, maybe

Gateweaving / Gate destruction should be sped up, too.

Yes, plz. One time, Xiel kidnapped me for like an hour to weave a few gates.

How long does gateweaving take? Was it a whole hour just for one gate?

30 minutes for one gate. Can be halved by the needle artifact.
Shiri2009-06-16 07:32:03
15 minutes each for 2 people to weave, 30 minutes for 1 person to unravel (does not stack with multiple unravellers.)

Like you were doing anything more interesting.

Charging cubes. I spent three hours this past weekend getting the Perfect Fifth's cubes charged. All it would take is to make each tick do five times as much, and use up five times as much. That's got to be an easy change, no redesign like with forging.

Losing five percent of your reserves for one mistake is bad enough, losing twenty-five would be horrible.
If you were going to put this in, I'd like to see a corollary where you don't enchant if you can't draw from a powerstone (an optional toggle, as I know some people use cubes to drain off excess power from astral linking).
Lendren2009-06-16 12:49:29
I'd support that too.
Shiri2009-06-16 16:48:49
I wonder if I could get away with envoying that...remind me tomorrow
Llandros2009-06-16 17:12:53
at least make it so that if your powerstone dies that your enchanting get's disrupted. I once nearly drained my entire power reserves because i wielded a nearly empty powerstone instead of the full one i meant to hold and wasn't paying close attention.

This is a weird spam, it's educational.
