Holy crap, guys. Really? Really? Haven't there been enough disfavors lately? Haven't half of them been clearly marked with this as the reason?
The stupid, it burns.

Remember, assume that I concurrently play 22 characters and that each holds a position of minor power.

Hand in quests that are already a huge pain in the butt getting slowed down even more... by quest givers who, upon receiving what they want, give the spam of handing the item to you, but... don't... actually... do so.

Just log in this time next week, Xavius's alt will be the one Celestian online.

Don't fear, the political master Guido will come save you. He has certainly proven his political prowess in the past. All of his major undertakings end in drama-free, easy-sailing success. Honest.
EDIT: And I'm looking at the people reading this thread, and I don't think a single one of them catches the reference. Sadface.

For all my failures, I've never really done any damage. The orgs I'm in typically benefit from my presence until I go haywire and leave.
It's never my fault, anyway!

You mean aside from leading the DoC to their grieftastic doom and disbanding, accompanied by a truly hilarious public post about how you've died so many times that you don't care any more?

Buh? Aside from the fact that I was 15 during that debacle... no, I had nothing to do with the DoC's failure. We were five rogues, only one of us had the most rudimentary understanding of combat, and two of the game's three orgs were hellbent on stopping us at every turn. Guido was a spectacularly unuseful member - heck, I could hardly kill swamp oozes - but I can hardly be attributed with our failure. It's not like it was possible for us to succeed. Even if we had clobbered Serenwilde and gotten Crow to slay White Hart, it wouldn't have brought Glomdoring any nearer to existing.
I maintain to this day that the measures taken against Guido were griefing to the nth degree. I had no combat abilities, I had never PKed anyone, and I hadn't so much as one healing trigger (I didn't even know how to make one), yet I could expect to be attacked five to ten times a day by groups of 5+ people. Sure, I was loud and obnoxious, but c'mon. Level 25 tae'dae with virtuoso bonecrusher? Not a threat to White Hart.
This has been Ancient History 101, with Professor Flagg.

Doesn't have to be with the old Summer Court and Guido's Crow problems?
EDIT: Ninjas suck

Oh, it was. It's like watching a really bad movie. Some movies try hard and do well. These are successful characters. Some movies try hard and do poorly. It's uncomfortable to watch these. These are people who get griefed. You want to go save them. Some movies fail in such spectacular fashion that it doesn't matter that it's bad, it's funny to watch them try and fall on their face. This was Guido.
EDIT: If it makes you feel better, there were several shared moments in old school Glom where we'd stop and marvel and what we had and kinda wished you were there to see it from the inside.

I wonder what a population graph of each organization would look like over time. Or perhaps even better a graph of citizens who were kicked out or left the same day as a disfavor was given.
You could then put little markers on the graph, like dates of events or a change in patron.
Actually I wonder if any kind of data mining like this goes on behind the scenes.

I recently trained up a beast with sleepcloud with the intention of using it after inquisition to make sure that the person can't run from my soulless. So I tried it out in a spar today, and when I did it, Yukio was awoken by damage within about half a second, which was strange because I didn't think I did anything to him that would have inflicted damage. After some testing with Pectus, it turns out that Inquisition does a very small amount of damage every second while it is active. This damage is so negligible that I didn't even know it existed before today, because it's normally covered entirely by regen (and who damages inquisitioned people anyway?). The only conceivable purpose it serves is to wake people up.
TLDR: I spent 150 mind trains on an ability that is useless for what I wanted to do with it
