Yes, and we shall make sure to do the same for any other individuals selected by the Board of Directors. While I agree that it is a bit of a shame of the few wasted days, I would also like to point out that the three individuals were actually suggested by the citizens of hallifax and not picked by either cririk or me.

It may be to you but to others it may not, but if you look at it, one of the reasons for the CFing was to help get favours out fast to those who need it.
I mostly hate who wins elections these days, maybe I'm just a bit bitter about it...

I think one main issue is with Saaga getting GM is Elostian and Auriell spent the past week or so CFing you to get you to CR6 and when you get GM, it looks as that time being wasted to some.
For me, it's the other way around. The issue with favouring her up to CR6 was because Cririk died a day or so later (thus opening up two positions with CR6 tagged to it). Knowing that, if I were in his position, I would have continued to favour how they were doing previously. The chances of one of the people who got nominated to get CR6 getting one of the elected positions was always going to be high.

Fortunately people voted on who would be a good GM and not some convoluted made up rules of fairness.

WHAT THE HELL!? YOU'RE IN A BUREAUCRACY AND YOU'RE NOT VOTING ON SOME CONVOLUTED RULES? I AM ASHAMED FOR YOU.

So I log in to find that someone has stolen everything in my shop except the items in the shop rift since they probably didn't know how to use that. Awesome.
Only person I've heard of doing robberies lately is Narsrim.

I don't mind rules if they aren't made up ones.

Just a little bitter?
@deschain: All rules by definition are "made up". I'm not sure how else you'd go about formulating them.

...Obviously not what I meant. There are rules which are hard coded into the system, and there are rules that people make up which they consider makes something fair.

Yeah, someone had to make up those laws to code, no?

Yes, which makes those "real" rules.
If there was a "you have to elect variety" rule that actually existed in the game, I guess that would be a real rule too.

I think it's more along the lines of, "She would have been CR6+ anyway, those cityfavours could have went to someone else."

It is in game. Just in the Hallifax players' heads.

Was it CL or GM? Either way, it's still a silly reason to not want somebody to get either. "Let's not elect this person because then a few days worth of favours which be insignificant in a few weeks will have been wasted."
