I'm sure you felt like you were being a great 'leader' IC, and I'm sure plenty of others felt you were another alt butting in at every possible moment for attention. That's usually how those things pan out.
And you guys try playing a rogue Blacktalon with zero power and see how easy it is to kick ass. Call me a 'coward' all you want - Shuyin couldn't hurt the fly with the abilities I have at my disposal.

Well, how did you become a rogue? Were you kicked out or did you leave?
Unknown2010-01-18 20:42:00
I left in order to pursue activities that would have certainly gotten me kicked out. I was just trying to save them the trouble, but they got mad anyway.
Unknown2010-01-18 20:42:41
Either way, you've put yourself in your current situation. It's all entirely of your making, and the only way to improve it is to try and unmake it.

Protip: asking for enemy statuses via market does not help.

LOL
The ground suddenly falls away from beneath Azoth and he goes tumbling into a pit.
Azoth dies instantly as his body splatters against the bottom of the pit.
You have slain Azoth.
Your karma rises in response to your deeds.
Your karma falls in response to your deeds.
Azoth drops the corpse of an orc warrior.
Azoth drops the corpse of a female orc.

I underestimated that 15% damage vulnerability from high disfavours. Maybe I should start deffing when I go a-hunting.

Wait.. Azoth declared you?
Edit: Never mind, got it. Enemy territory.

Killing on prime always costs karma, regardless of the circumstance. I didn't declare him, I was in Mag territory.

We were basically the only two leaders when Scuchi was around too. She listened to our advice quite often on things.
Kalin also set up the city defense clan, talked with Serenwilde about non-agression/trade, completed the epic quest and proceeded to help others and teach others...
The other three... I think they may have brought in 50 power at some time.
So yes, Kalin is young, but Kalin is also the only one who was actively and visibly working for the city.
... and it just dawned on me... why the hell am I justifying my character to SOMARIA???
Because Somaria is now all awesomely nice and junk again.. Generally. Haven't you heard?Kalin also set up the city defense clan, talked with Serenwilde about non-agression/trade, completed the epic quest and proceeded to help others and teach others...

That and Amber has a valid point that despite his obvious potential, Kalin is still young-ish and it feels odd to me as a player.

You lose karma, even as a Guardian defending your homeplane.

Exactly. All babehs must have her permission. You must also clear any pregnancy roleplay with her as well, since the very idea is quite stupid. You will not fight during said pregnancy and I demand that it be hard-coded into the game that for each time you mudsex, there is the possibility of a lock down on your offensive skills, as if you're peaced for the next nine days (2 or 3 if you're a furrikin or faeling). The affliction line will be as follows:
"You have been knocked up by . Congrats, you stupid ."

Don't let her near guild shops/credits either.

Being pregnant doesn't magically stop someone from being able to fight. Warrior or monk attacks to the gut should just do double damage and wounds, or something.

Sure it does. Fine, fine, fine. In month 7, I demand damage done to be halved as well, though. Those guts get in the way!Gregori2010-01-18 21:38:04

No, Greg. But it is old news and it's nothing I'm ashamed of considering the circumstances surrounding the matter which I choose not to disclose to you or the forum community. While I am still sorry to the people frustrated and certainly wouldn't have done it in a right frame of mind, I fail to see the point in bringing it up. I didn't run against you, dearie, nor did I post in objection ICly. I merely expressed an opinion.Shaddus2010-01-18 22:00:05
