Lendren makes plenty on the Fifth despite being the most expensive shop in the commune, if his SS financial reports were to be believed. People don't browse or something, I dunno.
It does sorta depend. I'd be highly surprised if Inagin's shop sells a single leaf of anything.

I shop the Perfect Fifth sometimes because it has such a wide selection and is kept well stocked. There are things there you can't find anywhere else (some enchantments) and Lendren is really good about not running out of things.
Saran2010-03-26 03:35:49
oooh. I have an idea...
hrm where to send it.

This is all true. Most of Serenwilde is horribly stocked. And usually I don't really care about prices. Just putting it forth as an example.

Heard on the newbie channel:
"how do i started"
That's right up there with "thx" in terms of first impressions.

He openly tells people it is just for storage and people to look at all his nice things. Ugh. But, now I can tell him to make it a shop or close it >:)

Do people even use city/commune shops? The only time I even bother checking them is if I can't find what I need in the Aetherplex and nobody responds to Market requests.
Here's the YouTube video it came from. I guess it's possible that it's fake, but it looks pretty freakin' real to me. It looks pretty much like most trapdoor spiders, just a bit bigger than usual. I have no idea how you would make a glove move that way anyway.

The spider on page 213 (aka Shamara's Siggy) looked fake to me. It kinda looks like someone made a good spider glove. (Plus the way the legs curve makes them look like fingers, and there isn't much texture to its body...) I had to literally sit there and watch it for a few mins, until I realized that there were too many legs for it to be fingers...
Twit: I enjoy reading other people's twits and giggling.

Nets lagging, watched it in very slow motion. Real. I'm slightly terrified.
Rika2010-03-26 08:36:23
That is freaky. D:

Why can you suddenly not imbue anything?
Eventru2010-03-26 08:48:27
Because we thought esteem was breaking the game.
(There's a bug, it'll be fixed soon.)

Our poor, wasted esteem...and the gold we might get for it!
EDIT:
thanks to Esano for telling what to imbue!

Apparently in the examined description of an item we're not allowed to assume that someone is actually looking at the item.
Iktomi2010-03-26 18:17:32
Dreamweaving. It was fixed at the last weaving. It's already broken again. Same issue every single time.
Lendren2010-03-26 18:33:48
The special name for "is fixed some of the time and broken other times" is "broken".

Also known as extremely frustrating.

Some days I miss lack of rants.

Talking to Lexa made me(the player) feel bad >.> but it doesn't help when you're online for at least 9 hours w/o proper sleep over the past few days (and is therefore cranky most of the time recently) and poof someone decides to just be an annoyance. You just can't resist the urge to hit back (after holding off for a looooong time) when oppurtunity arrives.
BUT guess who I saw in UV?! Lisuarte! Talking to him made me feel better.
