Serenwilde, Magnagora and Glomdoring, when each dominated the domoths, ALL did it at times they had even or better odds (often better) of winning it. Which meant they didn't change hands much at all.

They're still done that way now; it's possible for a Domoth to change hands nowadays, even more so because differing orgs are doing it and can't always get their buddies to help, but the main turnover is still flux.

So, how do you know which will flux then? That's the part I still don't get.

I don't really care that it did, either. It was my first time, so it was mostly a learning experience for me. I can see now why most demigods don't bother with it, too.

You look at the last ones that fluxed... they go in order.

Next will be Beauty and Knowledge.

It's not like there's a news post or log of this (is there?), so how would a person know without being around for every one that fluxes?

It happens every Estar, so even if you miss one set you know the pattern is still going to be intact. The random factor is that you don't know what day in Estar, or (now) how long the dormancies will be.

Also, when 2 Domoths drop from Crown to Sceptre level overnight (even if you aren't around), you know Flux happened.

Dear Lord that Domoth this morning was epic.

If not for Flux, domoths would pretty much never have a chance to change hands. They're in there so that people don't just glom on to a Domoth and never let it go; and they can be determined ahead of time which are the next set to go so you don't even both wasting time on it. As Alacardael said, there's a reason it hadn't been claimed.

That, and I told you when I noticed you were Domothing that it was going to flux! tongue.gif

I will admit to pausing and considering that word after my fingers typed it, before deciding to leave it be!

I amalgamated stuffs today! Yay! After six months, kinda forgot how it worked and had to make new aliases...

As soon as I get GA, my guild gets blitzed with novices. While double exp is also running.

I feel so punked.
Xenthos2010-03-29 02:49:40
We've registered a seventeen on the novice scale. ohmy.gif

Aquas are getting new blood too! I'm an excited Magister! In real life, even!

With the amount of essence required to fill one keg with unholywater, I could resurrect two Demon Lords and almost a third.

I think I filled a keg with holywater once... or maybe it was someone else. I always just offer to refill holywater vials for free so long as they go to fire and hunt for essence....

Seems the lore wiki has lost all its information.
Lendren2010-03-29 14:53:20

Yeah, that's going to be a bit of a doozy. None of the logs record any changes. sad.gif

ima say database... somehow
Eventru2010-03-29 15:19:00
It could have happened during the server switch.
Lendren2010-03-29 15:38:29
I messaged Estarra hoping the database on the old server is still somewhere we can recover it, because I'm sure not making all that from scratch again...
