Yes, I do apologise, that was me wondering whether or not Patrons can confirm ministers, since I couldn't when Rika appointed Arel as Treasurer and he could not confirm himself.

Did you unconfirm her afterwards then? Not that there's any command, but dismiss/reappoint and explain it, or something.
Elostian2010-05-20 08:12:59
It remains unconfirmed whether the confirmation of the previously unconfirmed minister has been revised into an unconfirmation which may or may not have been confirmed or unconfirmed by another minister.

And shame on you for editing your post after I responded, Shiri. Your earlier post seemed like a joke.

No, I did not oust her after. She was the only applicant anyway (with one backup who said she'd do it if no one else would), so it's not like there was much of a selection process involved. I honestly didn't think it was this big a deal, if it was, my apologies.

EDIT: after reading back to some of the reactions I got from individuals, I understand that my confirmation has been considered an abuse of privileges by some. While I disagree that my action changed anything (she would have been confirmed as soon as Arel got his internet connection installed again) I do understand how this may be perceived as such and would like to convey that it was not my intention to cause a stir. I was honetstly merely messing about with commands, not actually expecting it to work (since it had not on Arel). I assure all that I by no means intend to become what my forum title implies and would offer apologies to anyone who felt that I have been acting in this way.

You were still typing when I edited it! I realised it was badly worded so I went in for another go. sad.gif

Conspiracy theories!

* Elostian is secretly turning Hallifax into a city order of Elostian.

* Reason why remains undiscovered, although he might either do it to gain control of a huge chunk of the Basin's knowledge or for the lulz

* People do suspect this and are rising against Elostian's movements and despotic displays of power

* Nejii and Gregori's Gaudiguchian alt are at the head of the rebellion

* Casilu plans revenge on Elostian, slaying every org member until she can reach Elostian on her list, Kill Bill style

* Rika is pregnant with Nejii's child

Hey, leave me out of this. Otherwise, at least two of these are true.

I skipped all of that into this part:

How could you betray me, Nejii!? I thought, y'know, you and me had something going on...

Rika went back in time and long story short, is her own grandma.

Edit: Whoa, totally didn't notice Solanis's post there. That would make an epic bad soap opera.

Someone should invent soap operas for the stage in Lusternia. I mean, intentionally, it's been done unintentionally a few times. (I think your post is redundant, you said "epic bad soap opera" and I think two of those four words are unnecessary... wink.gif)

I have half a mind to lock this thread, honestly. Virulent critiques, accusations and malignant statement towards and about the administration or individuals thereof are to be sent to support@lusternia.com, not posted on the forums. I'll be re-reading the posts to decide if anyone's getting a warn bump or not, but I'm more than mildly displeased.

OMG, that would be awesome! Do little ten minute dramas once a week! laugh.gif Full of unrequited love, betrayal, secret children and all the soap operay fun!
Lendren2010-05-20 12:50:45
God, I sure hope perfectfifth gets fixed one day...
Ileein2010-05-20 13:17:41
Set in Imperial times, of course. Soap opera drama is even more fun when it's the Imperial family facing all of the mistaken identity, divorce, accidental incest...
Aramel2010-05-20 13:18:19
I wish astrospheres were fixed already.

Edit: Yearly soap operas would be fun, but I'm not sure I could manage to write them, let alone act in them. If I did a soap opera though, it would be about dwarves. For some reason I heart dwarves.

I'm displeased... with your sofa. That's right. I said it. Your sofa sucks.
