De jure Glomdoring and Gaudiguch are not at war, but because Gaudiguch is allied with Magnagora and Glomdoring with Hallifax we're at war de facto.

Aren't they? I thought that comes with the territory of allying yourself with a nation at war. tongue.gif

My glom alt sure gets told by Mag a lot, that they're at war. Unless that's for wholly unrelated reasons or something confused.gif

Depends how you look at it. Aside from the Incabulos situation, Halli's always been good to me, if not downright helpful with some events. I'm certainly not going to help attack them. It's kind of up to Hallifax how far they want to take it. It could easily lead to war, probably, if you say "A few Serens helped defend Fire, it's on now!" I haven't noticed that happening yet, though, so we're still kind of neutral as far as I can tell. Same with Celest, despite them and Glom being pretty close.

If Seren's at war with Halli, then only Seren knows it. tongue.gif

It's probably a lot like what Alacardael said. SW and Halli probably aren't officially at war, but I'm sure there's one or two people who encourage/wouldn't mind it.

But that's with every org. In fact, Glom still has the ridiculous people who want to go back to the golden days of 'FIGHTING EVERYONE IS FUN'

I think that has more to do with a lot of people hating Glom, but generally being more tolerant of everyone else.

See, if the situation is like that, I'm perfectly okay with it. I remember the first war we were in after I started playing-- it had a long build up, lots of banter, and finally a declaration of war. The war lasted for a little while, then ended. It was fun. Raiding =/= war, raiding == raiding, which can escalate

Now, it's "OMG YOU STEPPED ON MY PLANE IMMA DECLARE WARZ ON UUUUUUU" *zerga zerga zerga* (1 year later) *zerga zerga zerga zerga". It's ridiculous.
Krellan2010-05-26 20:42:20
Ahem, you know what Glom has? People who hate Magnagora IRL

It's true, I am Wyrden IRL. I painted my house purple.

So am I apparently, there's a crow or two that lives on top of my townhouse. glare.gif Loud buggers.

Helping others complete quests is fun and all, but I wish the Tolborolla quest wasn't so annoyingly tedious and luck based and requiring of you to wait multiple respawns to complete it. sad.gif

I've come to like them after reading an article on how crafty and fun-loving pranksters they are.

It's not quite as bad if you raid Serenwilde and Kiakodan for rabbits.

The rabbits aren't that bad. It's the silk thread that is the killer. It is entirely luck based how many threads you get from the Robin, and I think you need five or so. Probably more because I often end up having to do at least three respawns of caterpillars.

And of course dem apples.

I saw deer outside my dorm room all the time. =D

Althought I actually saw a lot of crows too. <,<

And the school mascot is a bearcat. Bear + Lion? So I guess that just makes me a druid?

I've been pretty lucky with thread, I think I only had an issue with that once.

Gaudiguch IMO isn't even at war with Glomdoring. Some of us fight them now and then in eth-serenwilde or Celestia, but apart from Urazial and/or Nienla Glomdoring doesn't come a raiding us and we don't go a raiding them. We can't afford a war with them right now so we just don't bother inciting one.

I also think Sojiro is about 2-3 months outdated on Gaudiguch's fighters being all Mag. 1. We have fighters left? 2. Those who do fight are pretty much from varying orgs.

Vathael left back in February when he stopped logging on and then moved back to Mag. Malarious moved back to Mag before then even. Veracruz is almost never around and I am not sure I have seen him actually fighting. Aliod is From Magnagora I will give you that. Munsia is Munsia and saying she is Magnagoran is just trying to fit her in for argument's sake, besides she is a shrub now anyways.

Managed to complete it. I noticed that they've put in a ladder there, which is good.

She's a shrub again? It's like a natural life cycle with her, she moves between shrub and person like the rest of us breathe. I don't think I've ever seen someone do that, it's usually a one time thing or permanent.
Eventru2010-05-26 22:23:34
Let us not discuss shrubbings and/or other admin punishments on the forums, please. Thanks!
