I'm just working off of forum posts, the first one was around that time and all I remember was thinking "oh ffs... the first time all weekend that I'm away from my computer and they're releasing something" while waiting for the train.

There's also the matter of other planned events going on, now, I'm pretty sure they don't want people trying to release a guild while wild nodes or some such things is going on, so those little calendars of events going on are helpful, if there's an event planned for that weekend, like this weekend's quiz and wild nodes, they're probably not going to open.

Well, the sentinels/templars event did come without a whole lot of warning.

I remember because I got home from my usual late weekend long day, and logged in to a lot of messages and tells telling me to get to the templar pyramid, because they were choosing founders.
